 		 new to unholy? look here!!
Ok, so it all started with karmic_crimewave coming across unholy movie.com. At that point, the site only contained a notice from the 'department of defence', saying it had been shut down "due to a class D cease and desist order by level 2, Department of Defense. No other information is available at this time."

Shortly after the site was found, it changed to show just a plain black background with the words ' beware the experiment '. we noticed there was a link hidden on the page which gave us an email address for a Martha Townsend . A couple of us sent out some emails enquiring about the site and what the experiment was. We received emails back which were quite cryptic, warning us that this movie is real, and that we should be careful. We were also in contact with Martha via AIM, and she pointed us towards Dr. Josef Mengele, who was a nazi concentration camp doctor who was infamous for experimenting on twins. She also mentioned the 'unholy trinity' and how "we brought the evils of Hitler himself overseas".

We did some research as to the plot of the movie

After a short wait (with various emails and AIM conversations), Martha gave us a web address (http://www.friendster.com/user.php?uid=17670141) which contains a government document (anyway, you should probably see it). We then had a mysterious poem posted which lead us to the name Lester Kraus, but initial research didn't come up with much. We were then told by Martha that 1000 people must see the document on the friendster website before we could progress through the game, and so we set up a website with the document and a counter. While we were waiting for the counter to reach 1000, we were tipped off to ask Martha about Lester Kraus, she replied with "He is the man in the cellar. He is the man in the woods. He is our worst nightmare. Him and his Die Soldaten."

Pretty quickly we reached 1000, and while we were waiting for an update on the unholymovie site, we were contacted by a person claiming to be Hope, Martha's daughter. Hope wanted to know the location of Martha. Also TobyNTucker was contacted by some one called Jordan Townsend, claiming to be Hopes brother. We were sent emails from Martha advising us not believe either Hope or Jordan. Later, a message was posted by an 'April' saying that Hope is actually out-of-game, but we are still unsure what to believe.

We were then sent an email from Martha ("We brought him here. We put a witch on the payroll.") with a wav file attached, which she later explained was her screams from when she was being experimented on (nice thought huh??). We're still working to see if we can get any words/phrases from the sound file. Shortly after this, the unholy movie site was updated to show the same document from friendster and some other stuff (don't want to spoil it for you, if you need the answer, its on the other thread). From this we got the name Gertrude. It turns out that she is another of the characters from the movie.

We also have a 20 second video clip (unholy movie.com/unholy).

Thats about all we've got so far. (feel free to add if ive missed anything lol)

 		hello there.
so first i wanted to say that i am german and that my english isnt very good. so sorry for that.
i clicked the site unholymovie.com because i am fan ov nick brendon.
so than i saw this mystirious things. i read the whole thread coming up 25 pages....

so i wanted to ask if there is something new?
i wrote martha before finding this site and dont get an answer yet.

can everybody write here?

 		I guess we'll use this thread to summarize the Trail. Please keep Spec/Discussion on other threads to keep this as clean as possible.

On April 11, many people received this email from Martha:

 		the three arg-ers mentioned on the unholy website have been sent an email containing some morse code. they translated to time travel, invisibility, mind control. we have also been sent an email advising if gertude hears the morse code, she will know she can trust us.

 		After learning she could trust us, Gertrude asked for a champion to be sent to her. WorldOyster voluntered and an online petition was set up to show that she was, indeed out champion.

Gertrude required 100 signatures to the petition, and when this number was reached, Gertrude contacted Julie (world oyster) to arrange a meeting.

Julie did not report back, and now when visiting the unholymovie site you get the audio message :

Following World War II, stories started to spread throughout Downington PA about a Necromancer, or a witch, who would supposedly kidnap people and perform "experiments" on them underneath the Downington woods. The myth varies. Sometimes it was told that he would only take children at the stroke of midnight, and other times it was told that everyone was prey for the Necromancer. Whether these photos that were given to us were doctored or not, your guess is as good as mine. They were given to me by a Holocaust survivor who currently resides in PA.
