I think the WHOIS for archaictranscripts.org has changed....I'm not getting any of the stuff I did before. Can someone check my math?
(Maybe we're not supposed to call?)

The WHOIS said it was reg. to Artifacts International...I can only find one site (and it doesn't look in-game). It's not the same physical addy either.

Ray, I cannot find the tinginny packet I brought back
from my last assignment. Are you using it?

Origin 63raymondgatin|Destination 49DukeDelany

No. We are now missing several artifacts
from several different assignments
.
I will add it to the list in the Matrix.

Maybe some of thes artifacts are being "fenced" at archaictranscripts.org?

The is an artifact on the site can the Tiny Ginn Papyri under the auctin sections soI would say they are definitely related.

Another thing I just noticed was the Ana Ma Ray booklet in the auction sections. Just a strecth but could that be the "Rama" Ray Gatin was asking someone to look into way back when?

Ana Ma Ray or Ray, Ana Ma or R. A. Ma

Just to compare, I looked at the WHOIS entry for QND's site.

Quote:
Registrant:
Defence Intelligence Agency
. .
Washington DC, District of Columbia 200-19
US

Domain name: QUANTUMNETWORK.NET

Administrative Contact:
Jacoby, Lowell jacobySPLATquantumnetwork.net
. .
Washington DC, District of Columbia 200-19
US
+1.202-324-3000
Technical Contact:
Rashdom, John domregSPLATvertix.net
8 Sturgis :ane
Lititz, PA 17543
US
+1.717-627-6080

A reverse lookup of the Lowell phone number revealed that it actually belongs to ... the FBI.

That's right, as far as I can tell, the real freakin' FBI.

So I'm going to drop the idea of actually calling any phone numbers in the WHOIS. My best guess is that they've registered the domains with false information, but not made-up information - rather, they've looked up the contact info of a real-life contact which would seem to match the fictional website. It effectively makes a WHOIS check useless.

Let me know if this is trout, since I'd love to know that it's actually right.

Of course, the jacobySPLATquantumnetwork.net email address might still be useful. Has it been tried?

A few months ago i was on the QND site and I just started clicked on the alert button at the bottom( the one that tells us what terror threat we are under) from there i typed on another site and i wasnt really paying attention and I realized it was a site that ended with .gov and then it said i didnt have athorization to view the page 9think it was a firewall but cant recall) as far as i know only .gov can be used by government agencys. I didnt mention this before I just thought it was another twist and i am still learning about theses games so i just figured it was normal.
