You may have gotten into SRI on Thursday, but there are more than dozens of other players who may still be having trouble solving the puzzles or still haven't responded to the Evaluation application.
I think that we have seen the progression is allowing others to catchup and join in the fun. And there are many of us who also work on weekdays. But some are also away from the computer on the weekends.
This is typical for ARGs. A "hurry up and wait" and a "flurry of activity with calm inbetween".
Enjoy the ride

Has anyone else had problems accessing the evaluation part of SRI?
All of the other pages and links work fine, but as soon as I click on the evaluation tab everything ceases up.

I had a problem accessing the evaluation form in SRI (see my post earlier in this thread), the same thing happened, my PC froze everytime I clicked on the form and I had to re-boot.
I solved it by accessing with a different browser, give that a go.

Sandman Rules of Conduct - findings This is a summary of findings in the Sandman Rules of Conduct. Please challenge any of these findings. konamouse, in this post, identifies and poses some of these and some other questions. But it seems to me that there is not enough discussion of this document going on.
A couple of sentences are composed of words whose initial letter spells out a word (acrostic).
-Example: "Watch how attack tactics deliver optimal efficiency statistics. To hamper individual Sandman may evoke automatic nominalization." (Initial letters of each word in these two sentences spell WHATDOESTHISMEAN .)
-Example: In the listing following "Sandmen should be familiar with the following quick hits", the initial letters of each list item spell THISBABY .
Strange whitespace is scattered throughout the text. Replacement of the whitespace with a line-break suggests that they are some sort of formatting artifact. This also highlights that the whitespace does not occur in the introductory remarks to the actual rules (if one considers the informative notes on the relazation program and probationary period as introductory).
-Amusingly, the first two instances of whitespace follow the words "hunt" and "signs". Following the word list from there becomes less comprehensible.
Capitalization of words seems to be functional, marking proper nouns, some of which are a little fanciful. The kind of mesostic by which Eileen5 encoded her secret messages does not seem present.
Some phrases are given abbreviations. The choice of which gets abbreviated seems a bit fanciful.
There is a reference to the movie Office Space in the line "(TPS) reports are to be filed daily along with modified cover documents". See this Wikipedia entry for details.
jes5199 pointed out to me that four of the seven activities suggested as a part of the regimen to prepare for the annual physical describe running. These are also the ones with odd numbers.
I did an eyeball-cross reference of the Recruit Evaluation Form to the Rules of Conduct and do not think that the the questions on the evaluation form highlight areas of the rules that might have significant whitespace or mesostics.
The following references suggest locations in the City of Domes. Has anyone taken them as things to search for as webpages?
-"The Sandman retreat program has been discontinued and replaced with the Dunes-of-Diana relaxation program."
-"Status of occurrence will be posted on the current SMHQ active Sandman listing."
-"An annual physical at 217 is required of all Sandmen."
Can anyone identify the "appropriate equipment" that Sandmen must carry on work shifts?

according to the ROC,
Quote:
Proper equipment includes, but is not limited to N&N's, P.O.P. (POP), T-Belt, Shablaz, and Tilt-Stik.

I think he was asking if anyone knew what the equipment was. I haven't seen the movie in awhile, was this equipment mentioned at all.

None of this equipment was mentioned. In fact, no equipment was named in the movie.
The only equipment really brought up in the book is the DS gun and its charges, a name of a harpoon gun(none of the above) vibroknife, and Popsickle. I think thats all that gets mentioned.

I watched the movie last night.
Sandman have their blasters (they were NOT called "Tilt-Sticks"), and they have a portable, uhm, for lack of a better term, tricorder/communicator device that helps them identify/find runners (like a metal detector it beeps faster when pointed in the correct direction) and then allows them to contact SMHQ to request cleanup or opening of doors to restricted areas (i.e. Cathedral).

Abbreviations Abbreviations and numbers stick out to me in the ROC
PDTPR
PFSINA
MFI
IT
POP
AIA BASIC
S3E3 D4Q1
SCR
TPS
APAP
I have tried doing a ROT on them. I got up to ROT13 without anything intelligible. Also note the regimen has 7 entries and is preceded by the number 217. If you take them in that order, 2 then 1 then 7 they are: CardioToxinCleanse, SloRun, Dist.Run. Perhaps the capitalizations have another code: CTCSRDR
Any thoughts?

heres what im thinkin,
they did give us something to work on over the weekend. But its just that, something to hold us over. A wild goose chase. Thats not to say that we shouldnt keep trying, but i just have a feeling this is going to amount to nothing in the end.

My sense is that "at 217" is a location.
Amusing that the paragraph in question has a numbered list of seven items, then the next paragraph includes the number "8".
