[UPDATE] June 20th - Sentinel - New Futures

Quote:
Futures
By Madame Bianca, for the week of June 20

The Archer (June 11 - July 10)
All you do lately is whine, and I for one am bored to tears of you. The gang keeps not getting back to you? Find a way to be not so tiresome, and maybe you'll start to sparkle again. Can't hurt to try, right?

The Half-filled Jug (July 11 - August 10)
Oh my darling, you are not cut out for this. Too much, too hard, too ambiguous. Well, nobody ever said life was fair, and a good thing, because it just is not. Someone close to you is keeping a fab secret, though, and as soon as the beans spill, your outlook will get rosier.

The Dragon (August 11 - September 10)
Gliding along thinking life is just one long party? After last week, I can see how you might get that impression. Gird your loins, babe, because this is fixing to be the worst Solstice Day ever for you.

The Three Balls (September 11 - October 10)
Lose the girl, dumpling. Just do it, no time for small talk about regrets or whatever. That's some toxic karma she's sporting, and I for one don't want to be at ground zero when what goes around comes around.

The Dice (October 11 - November 10)
Your edge is so sharp it hurts just to think about you lately. Time to use it to your advantage: Hit some of the high-stakes clubs on the Strip and rake it in. Strategy only, though, kiddo, because your luck stinks just now.

The Maze (November 11 - December 10)
You, my dear, are positively growing mold. Pick the dungeon lock and get some sunlight and a cool breeze before the summer passes you by. Oh, and it wouldn't hurt to smile, unless those muscles have gone and atrophied on us.

The Apple-Thief (December 11 - January 10)
Rest not! Life is sweeping by; go and dare before you die. Something mighty and sublime, leave behind to conquer time.

The Hand (January 11 - February 10)
Seriously? No. I mean it. Just give it up already. The dogged persistence schtick is so not working.

The Baby (February 11 - March 10)
It's easy to get swept off you feet by the holiday, and you do so love a holiday. Keep your wits about you, though, because boy howdy is your work going to be cut out for you come next week. Five minutes today? Totally will save you an hour on Monday.

The Eagle (March 11 - April 10)
It's OK to loosen up this week, you're in the clear. Find something glam to wear, kick up your heels and stay out way too late having way too much fun, then do it again the next day. I totally promise it won't set you back any.

The Spider (April 11 - May 10)
You certainly are handling your tumult gracefully. Keep on with the winning strategy: watch a movie, eat some pie, find yourself some scintillating conversation. This is the kind of interlude people go on wilderness hikes for, and you're getting it plus electricity!

The Wave (May 11 - June 10)
Lucky duck, your friends have an extra invite to the hottest Solstice Day party in town. Now's the time to make sure they aren't holding grudges for that thing, you know, from a few weeks back.

And remember, nothing can erase regret.

Because I like to keep track - this week's Apple-Thief is from Goethe.

Which says everything you need to know about Russell Grant and Mystic Meg (they make it up!)

Is it me or is Madame Bianca sounding more and more camp as the weeks go on?

It's a reference to Champaign!
Champagne is sparkling wine!

And there was me thinking it was a personal message from Mind Candy to me, referring to my constant harping on about why they wouldn't print my Sentinel article...Makes you wonder, doesn't it? But I'll shut up now Smile
