Hrm, I'm not sure why the answer is Cups. I translated the text and emailed you my answer as hearts, as the passage translates to:

"Know that the spades are the swords of a soldier
I know that the clubs are weapons of war
I know that diamonds mean money for this art"

So the missing line is...

"But that's not the shape of my heart"

Why is it cups?

Techincially what is not is just 'the shape of my heart'.

Confused, butrealising I may just be being a bit thick...

I think it's because in a Tarot pack Cups substitutes for Hearts...*supposition*

But the others aren't substituted... only swords make an appearnace...

No Wand / rod / stave
No pentacle / coin / disc

so lots of possible answers

BTW - i love the fact that the "standard" deck used in las vegas (and most of the world) is really the french deck Smile

The song says that spades are swords, and clubs are weapons, and that dimonds are money... But that his heart is not a cup.

It's also the only equivalent suit that is not mentioned by name.

Yeah I was kinda frustrated, especially after I got the whole aAabBBb... part on my own (finally) and then guessed "the shape of my heart" because I didn't even know the song was referencing the other suits after scouring the lyrics. Oh well. I still entered the drawing! Razz

I'm still dead chuffed I figured out how to translate it, even if it wasn't your answer I came up with, as I'm usually quite rubbish at these puzzles!
