The game that is not a game is afoot... ...well anyway, I just noticed that the game that is not a game...or the truth that is a fiction...or the real fake traveler game by the guy who is not real but who really is, is on...
the random house page has changed and we now have access to the "evergreen survielance equipment" now...
http://www.randomhouse.com/features/traveler/
I gonna check it out... just to pretend I'm big brother for awhile...
[EDITED]
Oh GAWD ITS HORRIBLE! dont even go there, unless you want to roll your eyes and groan.
Random House (as I am sure you are monitering this) that is WEAK!
You don't have to hold peoples hands and guide them around you know, talk about eliminating all mystery whatsoever....
I'm having more fun reading Gabe's real links...
Im outta here, I hope to see you all in another, more engaging forum...
Any suggestions? New games that are not to far along in the plot?
Thanks again for the welcome, sorry If I annoyed anyone;)

The Random House website is a relatively interesting game that leads to a couple of the websites that we've seen already, namely www.hollismartialarts.com and www.resurrectionautoparts.com.
I hope there's more to it than this, because I finished the thing in about 40 minutes and it didn't exactly tax my brain. Play through it if you've got the time...but like Lund said, there's way too much hand-holding.

This is so...confusing. The grid? John Twelve Hawks? I must say,
gabechouinard, that I'm intrigued by all of the ideas and concepts you've brought to this board, but I'm confused by any of the connections that all of this might have to John Twelve Hawks. He's real but not real, whatever. I'm just asking for some clarification.

Gabe, I want to talk. Is that a phone number I saw in your blog? If you're worried about soft talk, you need only describe how I should contact you. I can use an IP relay service...somehow I don't think you would like me calling you on my cell phone.

Okay, so this seemingly pre-recorde "loop' of a game if you will, which is always the same, inconsistantly, has just posted a "real" comment on this board...
Anyone have an Idea where to go next...
Where does that leave us?
By the way...he said that that lute symbol is called the "harlequin mark" and is a way of contacting other Travelers, I put it on my webpage for fun...I am not A GAME CHARACTER!!!! at least I dont think I am...

There is a new post on the www.hollismartialarts.com weblog. As much has gone into publicising this book I expect there to be more today since this is supposed to be the official release date.

I've been reading Twelve Hawks' book, and the game is probably the best part of it. If Gabe liked it... then he needs to get out and read more. Because it's pretty bad. You're better off reading fan fiction.
And a lot of things don't make sense. Not just in the novel, but with this whole "off the grid" thing. Like, if he wants to stay off the grid, why did he publish with a mainstream publishing house? And get a movie option? So it strikes me that the off the grid thing is a marketing ploy, which is fine, I guess. It's just kind of stupid.

I noticed this on the groupmail section of the evergreen-foundation website last night:
Quote:
My Esteemed Colleagues,
It has been brought to my attention by our security team that the following blank email was sent out from the recently departed Lawrence Takawa's account to an unknown and possibly dangerous address. Please be on high alert for any anomalies in our system and report them immediately.
Respectfully yours,

Did anyone try emailing the yahoo address at the bottom and get a response yet? I'm still waiting for anything.
