Also, it could be DomeCentral just likes to play with us.... at least until something sets time in the game

It seems to me that DC is pretty consistent about mentioning the time. IMO, DC wants us to find the time. DC says it is in the arcade...something we missed...

At the arcade the middle part that can scroll is seperate from the border, is it possible a clock is hidden under the border? I have no idea if it is possible to seperate the two, and even less of an idea on how to seperate them. Just thought I would put it out there.

i would think that any hidden text would show up in the source code. I've been over the source a dozen times and find nothing resembling a clock.

Understand, that the web page is NOT the city, and we shoudlnt pretend it is. You say "Sign up now!" and Re-live says "we only take applications in person". There is a clock that we cannot see.
I dont know how many forms a setting can take, but I'm thinking there must be a chat server, or a MUCK, or something, where we will interact in-game.

That is an interesting SPEC - there is a chatroom (in AIM?) where we meet as if we were meeting in the Great Hall or at Relive?

What is a MUCK?

A MUCK is like a MUD, or Multi-User-Dungeon. A MUCK, or MUSH, is a text-based online environment that one can explore, often geared more towards a social or Roleplaying end than MUDs, which are much more based on combat.
They are usually accessed by Telnet. Imagine a chat room with room descriptions and the ability to move between rooms via command.

There could be an in-game IRC server...or there could be nothing.
DC's attention to time is driving me nuts, its like it's saying "FIND THE ARCADE FOOLS"

Has everyone asked DC what color your life clock is? He said that mine looked red. Just wondering. Maybe we're all at a different time...maybe not. Might not hurt to ask.

DC has been continually giving out hints to some kind of time scale that the COD is operating on, and has said that we can check the time in the Arcade.

I think their tring to spur us to discover something, a new layer to the game.

well guys ..I`m new at this so it might be all just my imagination :_) ...but ...in cityofdomes.net there the year 2301 up there ...
and ( it`s clickable )....what if DC was meaning 23:01 ....when I googles with "logan`s run and 1101 ...I`ve got a bunch of sites ......maybe it`s just me ..and we are just in a pre-game thing ....

EDIT ...ok maybe it`s just me but whenever I click on it I got logged off ...the other thing that drawwn my attention is that the presence of the phrase " Enter the City Of Domes" in the source code ...without its existance in the page itself .....

Hmm, a time, you say. Interesting, but hard to find a way to apply a time without an action or location.

I was paying attention to the year, however. Risking being labeled a hacker, i attempted telnet and IRC connections to
cityofdomes.net, capricorn.cityofdomes.net, irc.cityofdomes.net, etc, on normal ports and on port 2301.
No dice so far.

And I've added 2301 or arcade to the end of every "room" I could find. As well as bliss (yeah, I know, very simplistic approach). We're not seeing the tree because of the forest?

lifeclocks - movie

On a different thread, konamouse reported on watching the movie, and answered the question that starts this thread.

Lifeclocks (in the movie) are:

yellow = 9-15
green = 16-23
red = 24-30
