Ask and ye shall receive:

Virgil: It's going to be big... it has to be big
Emile: It'll be huge... trust me
Virgil: My comeback must be SHOUTED from the heavens... it must be grandiose, lordly, imposing...
Emile: (laughing) It will be all of those synonyms, and more
Virgil: Audi must feel(?) that they are lucky to have us
Emile: (slightly stammering) I'm... I'm sure they will...
Virgil: Hey, what about the pools?
Emile: What... what *about* the pools?
Virgil: Well, I want them covered! I'm going to have noone upstaging my recoronation by stumbling into a water hazard...and you know.. (laughing)have them done with clear plexiglass, so you can see my reflection when you look in them.
Emile: (shocked) Any idea how much that will COST?
Virgil: (shouting) COST BE DAMNED! Just DO it!

Aaaarrrgggg!

Virgil posts a new rant and there is good news and bad news:

http://www.virgilkingofcode.com/rants/001441.html

The good news: He indicates that he will post a live video feed of the party on the 29th so that those of us who aren't lucky enough to live in LA or be graced with an invitation can live vicariously through others

The bad news: We are still missing something on the puzzle front - most likely (at least in my mind) within the maze of pages that begins with the_future.html. Virgil states:

Quote:
I shan't feel any sympathy whatsoever for those lackadaisical drones who miss the party because they'll be at the office re-doing their work, as they still insist on declaring their tasks completed and moving on, when they are not there yet. Those who are just going through the motions, not putting their all into Nisha, are committing serious errors of the heart and mind, and they won't be rewarded by me.

The puzzles within puzzles within puzzles strike again - will it ever end?

I'm wondering if Virgil won't unwillingly go for a dip in the pool...helped along by Ian. perhaps?

Virgil's just nasty enough that even if I felt more confident about my puzzling abilities (which I so don't), I am not sure I'd feel comfortable spending time and effort on such an ingrate.

Negative reinforcement as an ARG conceit is a tricky thing to play, and it's coming off a bit sour, here. Man.

Lackadaisical drones? Excuse me?

I for one am proud of my new title. It means I don't have to do anything anymore.

Hey don't be so hard on yourself. It's not like he's labeled you a traitor and muttered about how he has to do better picking drones next time...

The above may be referring to the decoded binary: She stole my heart,\\just as I stole minds so many years ago
