EDIT:
I also swear there was one with a dog in it, and i thought it was in the one of the air hanger, but i cant find one. Still, if there isnt one, remember 0 is also a number.

Heh, i know. There must be more somewhere. Im gonna give it another hour or so of searching, and then look for a plan B

you've been looking more carefully than i have!

i am not sure about the snake though. the only thing that looks like a snake on the crossroads picture is the man in black's tail.
and why is there nothing on the hangar photo?

That isnt his tail is it? It isnt present in any other picture. Im sure i remember seeing a version of the hanger pic with a dog on it. Was i imagining that? I was so sure there was one. The hanger picture is worrying me a little.

because other pictures are taken from other angles. same reason why you can only see his hooves on one picture.

did you manage to find a plan b then?

watching the 24 finale, and for some reason i dont think ill have any illumination regarding this puzzle during that.

Plan B was to cry. Didnt work. Ive decided to pretend his tail is a snake. Makes me happy anyway. Btw, my count is now on:
Butterfly:17
Flame:6
Crow:3
Trident:2
Snake:1
Dog:0

I have decided it is good enough. If it doesnt work, then oh well, i tried my best, and whoever wins it truely deserves it.

here's my final thought (in the last 2 hours)

tonight (infact now) there's a STELLA ARTOIS film on channel 4 called From Hell.... i was gonna watch it anyway... but i'll be making extra notes if there's any clues.
it's my last hope!!!!

I counted repetitions of a photo but that had ome slight changes, so the was a reoccurance. But mostly they are in my head. :S Anyway, they didnt work.
