Found Login/Password page

I don't think anyone's found it yet -

I checked out the latest post on ARGReViews - and found Hughbriss's post.
Looking at the 'submitting report' part of the post it sounds like he's "on board" (not on the radio though). He seemed pretty proud on promo for Argtalk (first post - joined 1 month in, "we're the pioneers of reviews, etc" kind of attitude).

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

He mentioned "ARGRecord" (which was canned). Looking at the source for the other pages, the side links all go to "/<nameofsection>/". - so I tried "/argrecord/" and found a "Login/Password" page for restricted access area.
Hope no one's found this yet?

http://argtalk.squarespace.com/argrecord/

Most other pages come back with 'page not found' - but this one does exist? what do you think?.. in game?

Edit: argrecord, not argreport

Edit 2: This is likely to be an out of game page (proper admin login)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

The old ARGReport link from an old post in the argtalk site (pg 69?)
http://argtalk.squarespace.com/display/ShowPage?moduleId=131995
Not sure if that's got anything to do with the above directory's contents - at this time.

In the upper right of Oldtim3r's suzee page, the quote
Quote:
Please don't go, we'll eat you up we love you so"

comes from the children's story, Where the Wild Things Are

Those self-contained knots strike me as familiar....

Those are from Knot Theory, a rather strange branch of mathematics that has become somewhat popular over the last few years. Not for the faint of heart, a primer is here.

The purple knot images in the collage seem to be generated by the Knot Server.

EDIT: Dammit, I didn't see fubarz' post. /me Trout self

It looks like the knots may be a red herring. Fubarz has already posted a link to a knot table that shows all of the knots in order, and the numbers relate purely to the knots themselves rather than being part of a code.

(K)not sure what more we can get from this, but I'd be happy to be proved wrong.

I am pretty sure that C.G is just an acronym for "Cute Guy", I've got some pretty wild spec on the involvement of Cute Guy, stuff that tv shows are made of Smile (involves a jealous girlfriend, now ex girlfriend, and a plot for vengeance...)

I'm pretty sure it stands for "College Guy". Could be wrong. *shrug*

In chat we came up with quite a few theories...

My personal theory:

The kidnapping is the ARG Suzee was launching and/or she works for the company who wants to buy ARGTalk.

There has been another file dropped in the online dropbox at argtalk. The file is named ohmy.swf

I have not looked at the file yet, but I also do not think I would be the first one to post about it. I searched and found nothing, I also looked back over the recent posts and found nothing so I am posting this in the off chance that I am the first one to see it.

Very sorry if this is old news.

oldtim3r has a new post in his blog, where he says he is not going to shut down his site just make it more secure so that it can't be hacked.

just got a reply email from argtalk. but it's not very helpful.

ARGtalk,
So i'm just curious as to what the "unannounced surprises" that were
supposed to be on the webcast are.

Quote:
ARGTalk to me

Dear delusional,

Sorry, but we're going to keep the "unannounced surprises" for another day.

There's a bigger issue at hand right now.

-ARGTalk

This is the type of responce i expected as i don't think the "unannounced surprises" exsist and were only there to build hype for the broadcast.

it is... highly unlikely... that thats the case. I think that Suzee's report ungiven report, the report on the person buying ARGtalk, and maybe even one of the call ins (they used mantis' but they might have had a more important one) will DEFINITLY affect the plot later.

I would have to agree that later on, these things may become important, and of course we get no clue before it's time. I would expect more plot developement now that they are going back to semi-business as usual on the ARGTalk site.
