[puzzle] Obsession2.jpg Since we finally have our own forum for this
So, what we have is:
A map of linear knots...
A section from "where the wild things are" by Maurice Sendak
A section from a creepy song by the Toadies
An unknown section
A picture of Suzee at a Luau of some sort (note the leis), holding a digital camera. She's looking at an old man in the background
Another picture, set up like a jigsaw puzzle. This time she's looking at the camera, and still holding her digital
A picture that is cut away to look like her name. She appears to be looking at her camera.
A piece of paper that has her name scrawled across it several times.

Re: a comment in the bigger thread. I highly doubt the knots are red herrings. I'll primer myself up and think about knots tonight:)

I personally speculate that the knots are going to be used in a later puzzle, but not at the moment - it's telling us to get primed and ready on knot theory

Maybe we are going down a rabbit hole with this ARG. One of the images looks like it is from Alice in Wonderland. Images of knots from knot theory a branch of math. Lewis Carroll in non-ficiton life was a mathematician and was obsesed with young girls. Maybe oldtim3er thinks he is the reincarniation of Carroll.

I'll go along with that. I just don't think the current knot pictures have enough info to be a puzzle.
Also the blood stain on the Alice in Wonderland picture is very similar to the 'Jones' dripping blood in the MFD file. Is this a clue that oldtim3r is MFD? Or does he just use the same software?

Interesting choice of names?
I haven't put it together but I wonder is that's the (in game) names of the other ARGTalkers.. and note: Jen is missing from the list.

I don't know....this definitely looks like a puzzle to be solved *now*. However, I haven't a hope in the world of solving it - I have a hard enough time with poke's puzzle trails.

Forgive me, is Brooke a unisex name? Honestly, I've never known it to be, but i'm not an expert. {And can we keep it civil please?}

They're just the first names of people in the community.
Steve = vpisteve
Sean = spacebass
Nash = NashCarey
Dave = Dave Szulborski
Brooke = imbri
And Nick, I'm sure you're very famous, but I can't put a name to the nickname, sorry!

This pic is HARD. I mean hard in the sense that it's a hard and confusing puzzle. There's so much stuff in it and most of it isn't original!
Is the page on oldtim3r's blog the only one we have so far that's anything to do with the picture?

Damn this picture with it's confusing lies. It's so hard to figure anything out from it when there's so much to work with.
Looking at it now, but there's nothing that immediately strikes me (and i have this weird fear of looking at random pictures online ever since i saw all those innocent looking pictures that actually have things that suddenly appear and scare the hell out of you). Will keep looking tho.

I think the biggest problem I'm having with this problem is that even if you could formulate an answer from something that didn't have an obvious question, its not certain where the "solve" would fit in. Another webstie, a page on oldtim3r... anything. Still, I'm not complaining. I've seen worse puzzles eventually figured out.
