No, that time we got:
Quote:
In case you hadn't noticed, you're close

Which lead us to the answer from "In case you hadn't noticed", as the clue gave it to us with the U in upper-case, but we were entering it in lower case.

did some little calculuses:

SO this is the arithmetical problem:
5(71 -u) + 82 + 66 _ 15 (85) + 1 * (105 - b + 8 ) + (81 - L) = ???
when you solve it correctly, you get:

BLOODy_P(At)H*(DO)T ->dunno what to make with it though

So far so good... now i instead of the letters i put in the right numbers which means you only may look in the Lanthanoids table!!
eg u=3 / but b=5 or 0.... / L=5
This makes the following first term for b=5:
5(71 -3) + 8*8 + 66 _ 15(85) +1*(105 -5+8 ) + (81 - 5) |which leads to
=>5(68 ) + 64 + 66 _ 15(85) + 1*(108 ) + (76) |which leads to
=>470 _ 1495

For b=0 you get:
5(71 -3) + 8*8 + 66 _ 15(85) +1*(105 -0+8 ) + (81 - 5) |which leads to
=>5(68 ) + 64 + 66 _ 15(85) + 1*(113) + (76) |which leads to
=>470 _ 1464

Now if only i could think of what to do with this????
maybe send it to the given mail???

Also sine 14 - 7 really seems to mean SiN, I checked if the 6 - 9 just means Tm... that would be SiNTm as a treadmark... Wink Frankly, I had no luck! Crying or Very sad

Yes, but that is not a key
if you goto about.php?uh4xdmy3y3s! then it reveals some text saying "Half is better than none".

This page is gone?

1. If we goto about.php?SiN we get:
Try Harder, Half is better then none.

2. If we goto about.php?uh4xdmy3y3sSiN we only get:
Try Harder.

3. If we goto about.php?uh4xdmy3y3sSiN?????? we'll get:
?

Or maybe not.

As I think this is wrong, but its a idea:

If Half is better then none, maybe a stegged image has a password 'Half'.
That would be better then no password right?

Harder could also be a password, but i doubt it.

Use for the equation?

What if that number that you came up with is just the number that you need to text message? Just add area code....?? I don't know I really am not good at ARGs but find them really interesting to follow. I mean 470 _ 1464 looks like a phone number to me.

pixie

hey im pretty new to the ARG scene but it's an addictive drug.
Erm, i knew i recognised the picture of the girl in the glasses from somewhere and then it hit me. It's one of the creations by nVidia. they used her to demonstrate their graphics cards last year. i've had a quick look on their site but cant find anything anymore but i'll have a look. maybe it has something to do with it. most probably not but hey, worth a try.

Hmm...
"The Chameleon, an ex-favorite of tech promotional events, has now been replaced with a pretty girl moving around the tree as well, but rendered with much greater details."
May be something, may be nothing Cool
EDIT : I checked it's not the same face.

Uhm. As a sinner from way back - general concensus is that the person in the glasses is JC. Blades male sidekick from Sin. He always had a baby face..... Wink

I still haven't heard if we've related the "I see things in the trees" to anything or found it's relevance....

Try "search" button top right-search for "see things in trees"
- it refers to the tree picture which is steg'd. It's been decoded. It was noted after the first update (where the picture was 'mirrored')

To continue what 3DR - Tedades started:

http://www.legionpharma.com/about.php?SiN
"Try Harder, half is better than none."

http://www.legionpharma.com/about.php?uh4xdmy3y3s!
"Half is better than none..."

http://www.legionpharma.com/about.php?uh4xdmy3y3s!SiN
"Try harder."

So my guess is, we found the halves and put them together. But the SiN is still a little bit off, like the uppercase on the other one. Too bad I got no idea what the harder could reference to. Maybe the name of an difficult level from the first Sin or something.

The most difficult setting in SiN is "Hardcorps"... and I tried that, but still nothing.

perhaps "bloody path" refers to a directory - maybe it ties into the MySQL error?
