Spec'ing in chat how Ian was going to fund his little cross country trek and hearing the way Gunter would say "Nisha you bitch!" I still laugh everytime I hear it.

If I was really thinking clearly, I would have made him say "I love it... Now make me hate it!" into my Treo's recorder so I could use it as a ringtone.

I am SO kicking myself, you have no idea.

Man, I don't know if I could pick a fave moment... in the game, it was probably when Nisha smashed Emile in the face with the laptop and says "That's for HitsHerMark." I don't know why, but it was just the way Nisha said it that made it so freakin' cool. On the boards, it was watching the layers of the Evil Cube get peeled away... I still can't believe how you guys pulled that off, and how Dave managed to design it using graph paper.

Then out of game, there was the end party where I got to meet the extremely talented cast and crew. How could that not be a favorite moment?

And in retrospect, not really a favorite, but one that just strikes me as being interesting: the fact that a group of 5 people were able to walk past gate security and other security personnel to get to the backstage area of Coachella and to the Audi party. I could understand that being allowed to happen if the security folks were given a heads up, but now that I know they weren't... it's kind of funny and makes me wonder if I can sneak into concerts. Laughing

As we slipped between the food booths there was a booth worker who did a double take as she noticed us... I could almost feel the confusion and conflict as she tryed to decide who were were, what we were up to and what, if anything, she was going to do about us.

Confronting Lou with Nisha was definitely one of my favorite personal moments, as was just watching Gunter go all bat guano on that boat, hocking pinkish-red loogies onto the floor of the boat, singing Twinkle, Twinkle to us ...

As an observer, the laptop moment really cracks me up. WHAM. OW.

Awesome.

Showed up early to the NYC op to do some recon (I wasn't a retriever but I work nearby)...noticed a trailer parked on the side street. Wanted to get a behind-the-scenes look at Nisha. As I was walking by the trailer, I immediately recognized one of the PMs (whose name I won't reveal, but it rhymes with stew more ski)...there was this weird moment where he looked directly at me and seemed to recognize me, which kinda freaked me out since there's not too many pics of me floating around. I circled around and walked back, and gave him the International "mum's the word" sign.

I had a really good giggle about that Smile

I have to say that watching the Atlanta SD heist go down was one of the most remarkable things I've seen in an ARG. Everyone played their part perfectly, and these were retrievers, not actors. I mean, they are just folks like us. I loved watching j5 rummaging around in that A3 for what seemed like forever and getting rid of the manager by asking for a brochure. Who knew it took so long to find out you don't have any brochures. I'm sure now everyone in that showroom was either an actor or in on what was going down but I don't think our retrievers knew that. I didn't suspect it at the time. So...that was a really great moment.

Oh doh, I just now read j5's little reveal about the Atlanta Audi GM and the brochure. So ok, j5 wasn't holding his breath but the rest of us were Smile Or at least I was.

What I liked about J5 getting the card from the car was that we didn't know it was him when we were watching him on the webcam...

We kept yelling in chat for that dude to get out of the car... Smile

E3 confrontation, thats my favorite.

Standing there watching those two guys go at it, too bad i only filmed the last part.

But the cool thing is during the audi party, while they were showing all the clips on the tv's, they put my clip on there.

Mine is a Chicago op moment, not surprisingly.

Specifically, at the end of the boat ride when Gunter kicked us off the boat. Gunter's boat must've been leased/rented/whatever from a towing company, so it had 'blah blah towing' written on the side. As we pull up to the dock, one of the zombie mimes starts tying the boat up, and some dude walks up to him and says 'Uhh, hey man.. do you have a card or anything? We broke down and need a tow.'

Right as this guy is saying this all calmly to a zombie who doesn't speak a word in return, Nisha and Gunter go nuts and start yelling at each other, swearing, etc.. As we're walking off the boat I overhear broken-down guy say 'Wow, all I wanted was a tow! I didn't mean to get involved in all this..'

Anyhow, that just cracked me up. It was all I could do to keep from laughing. Poor guy had no idea (and probably still doesn't) what the hell was going on.

I suppose I should weigh in on this...

I think my favorite Heist moment has to be when we first got access to iannet. Seeing all that data just made me drool. At that point I was truely gone on this game.

Second favorite has to be easter egg #2 and the cute white boy dancing scene. It always makes me laugh.

Third is a tie between seeing my little top ten list show up in one of the articles and solving two puzzles...cuz I'm selfish like that Very Happy

Favorite audience moment: watching your reactions to Last Resort Retrieval the first day you guys found it. It was an immense amount of work to get it finished for launch and the exploding brain icon that was created as a result was an absolute honor.

Favorite BTS moment(s): despite the insane work schedule of the Atlanta, Chicago, and Los Angeles events, we still managed to hit the Trader Vic's in each city to hang together outside the intensity of the production at hand. And of course, the Mai Tais. Oh yes, the Mai Tais.

Oddest moment: The night the E3 event was over, Brian Cain, Ramon, and I hop in the rental SUV (I have no idea why we had such a gigantic vehicle to drive around in), to meet the Perplex City team, Steve, Evan, and others for a drink at some crazy bar with a mechanical bull. It had been a very long day and we were beat, but we wanted to see them and we had to scout The Standard to see if it would work for the finale, which was nearby. So we valet the car, go inside and determine pretty quickly that it won't work. We go back outside to get the car and the valet hands us the keys to our white SUV and we head down the street to the bar.

As we are leaving, I comment -- "look at this cheesy men's fashion magazine they put in the car, how pretentious is that? They even laid it on the center console pretentiously"

Then Brian says "and they turned the radio station to some awful hip station too"

So we laugh about how lame and pretentious they are at the Standard until we pull up to the valet at the mechanical bull bar and Brian says "dude -- this isn't our SUV! They gave us the wrong car!!"

And then the other details come into focus -- the smooth ride, the nice handling, the comfortable leather seats -- this was a much better SUV than we had been driving in!

So we turn around back to the Standard, and as we pull up, I get out of the car and three guys are standing there and one of them says "why did it take three valets to get our car?" Then he realizes we aren't valets and his jaw drops. Fortunately for the real valet, we all had a sense of humor about it.
