I tried doing pixel coordinates with the relevance picture itself, hoping to get a word or something. Nada.

EDIT - Six discovered that if you take the pixels '100W 50H' and '180W 70H' and draw a box using them it surrounds the name 'Ben Abhu'. I can't believe I missed that, I had even made note of those pixels trying to find anything, hahah. Kudos to Six.

Sent an email to dennison, think this is what carer was hinting at:

Quote:

Dennison, do you happen to know of anyone called 'Ben Abhu'? The Carer
has hinted that we should ask you about him... any relevance?

Thomas.

Let's see what becomes of this.

EDITEDIT- More emails

Quote:

He was in the news yesterday, the police are looking for him. I have
never met him, spoken to him, or had any contact with him. I didn't
know about his existance until an email this morning made me look for
his name.

Me:

Quote:
Hm, ok. Do you know if the news report is anywhere on the internet at
all? Thanks for your help, and I do apologize about my rashness
earlier. I suppose we are all anxious to figure out what's going on,
and fingers are being pointed.

Thomas.

Could he possibly be one of the kidnapped?

Do we have a list of names of those that are missing?

Me and the carer:

Me:

Quote:

Hmm. Do you want us to find Ben Abhu? And Mr. Dennison seems as
clueless as we are about the whole thing... is he just hired help, or
something more? The chatlogs which were on your website seem to hint
at more...

What is it you want us to do? So far you just seem to be leading us on
a merry trail to nowhere.

Thomas.

Him:

Quote:

Find Ben Abhu? Well, you could, probably. I don't know if it would
be much use, however.

No-one on this 'operation', should you choose to call it that, has
ever met Ben Abhu, to my knowledge, and the chances are he has no idea
his name was printed on my website. Remember the name of the image?
Relevance? No relevance, in that sense.

But I'm a reasoned man. Would I publish a section of an article
without reason? Would I lead you to Ben Abhu's name without reason?

Me:

Quote:

Would you lead us to his name and associate it with Mr. Dennson
without reason is more the question. According to google, Ben Abhu
doesn't appear once on the internet, and if Dennison is telling the
truth then he knows nothing of the boy. So, no relevance there, but
still reason.

Thomas.

O_o

EDIT-

Hit the nail on the head there, Thomas. Congratulations.

Dennison is lying to you. You have all the information you need to
prove this. Seems you're just stuck on figuring out how to do so.

So i'm now trying to get info from Dennison.

Well, in most Semitic languages (and, I believe, most Afro-Asiastic languages in general), the 'b root means "father." So, literally translated, the name could mean "son of the father," for what it's worth. Wink

With "Ben" as the first name, that would be my first impression.

However, the mention that he's a thief makes me think of the Abu in the Thousand and One Nights tales. If my memory doesn't fail me (and it just might, since I was all of eight or nine last time I read them), Abu is a typical trickster figure -- amoral, clever and quick on his feet -- who manages to solve the central problems of the stories he appears in, and generally refuses the proffered reward at the end (which is usually being named vizier).

Don't know if any of that helps, but the name is unusual enough that perhaps its meaning and/or literary history are a clue.
