Binary
If you break the binary up in 8 bit groups you get 01001110 01001111 which is 78 79 which is the ASCII for NO!

Minesweeper on my computer does not have a default game that is 25x25. Beginner is 10x10, Intermediate 16x16, and Expert is a rectangle. I tried making a custom mine field but the greatest hight you can have is 24 so a 25x25 mine field isn't possible in Minesweeper (at least the one that comes with Windows XP).

I _think_ "Argle Bargle? Glop Gliff?" is a standard error message on a MUD when you make a typo.

Oooh! http://www.nru.us/hackers/miraclemax/ doesn't have 'A bit' as it's title (A bit being an anagram for Bait as addlepated pointed out). That means there's a slightly stronger possibility we might find something more at the end of that trail, as the directories leading to turgenev1.jpg didn't have the A Bit title, either. Who knows.

Re: The hits just keep on coming...
http://www.nru.us/hackers/wesley/ returns a blank page. Although the character was Westley, not Wesley. Now to check Dread Pirate Roberts...
(these are characters from The Princess Bride, btw)

Re: And another...
Dunno but found this:
Quote:
When chess moved to the salons and coffeehouses of Europe, writers Alexander Pushkin, Leo Tolstoy and Ivan Turgenev became aficionados and helped popularise it.
We'd previously only seen the conclusion of the game Maczuski-Turgenev (TEMCCA p44). Here, in full, is how the man with the largest brain ever recorded beat a master. Remarkably, the game transposed into the Sämisch variation of the Nimzo-Indian, 35 years before the birth of Sämisch and 25 years before the birth of Nimzowitsch.
Ladislav Maczuski - Ivan Turgenev - Paris 1861

Could the O-N-E refer to a chess move (of which I know absolutely nada)?

The Waco Kid and Mongo are from "Blazing Saddles"
Vizzini, Miracle Max, Fezzik, and Wesley are from "The Princess Bride"
The order seems to always be: Hackers/The Princess Bride/Blazing Saddles
I haven't tried any characters from "Signs" yet.
