He has allegedly kidnapped them to "teach them how to live." If we were to follow the seven deadly sins route, that means he wishes to purge them of the habits that encompass the various sins. For example, he may somehow get Amanda to quit smoking, or get Kyle to..

The only problem with the whole Se7en theme (which would be cool to the max) is that it's sort of already been done before. I mean, the movie was super intense and had a great story, but would the PM copy it exactly? And then add a whole creepy religious crazy cult (The Balance) instead of just one creepy religious crazy guy? Plus, the victims in Se7en were at the extreme of their 'sins' (A super fat guy for gluttony etc etc). Smoking a pack a day and going out for drinks every other night may be considered by some to be excessive, but not to the point of a deadly sin. Well, at least, not in my opinion.

BUT there's a chance that there are things about the 7 victims we don't know yet. In which case I'm just rambling!

Well i've hit across a nugget just now...

Amanda maybe a part time stripper/prostitute as she describes the place where she met Kyle (Po Na Na) as "really nice, relaxed, laid back atmosphere, and a nice clientelle" ....bit of a odd statement for a place like a pub....clientelle wraps it up for me Smile

I dont think it'll be suicidal...but i believe it is to save them from self-destruction..Amanda seems self-destructive with stress, alchol, and cigs.
