There's always the possibility that this mission won't happen. Maybe H. Meier is compromised and killed? I'm banking on something like that to happen.

Well I didn't get a chance to send out the datacard until today, so Krystyn, it should hopefully be there by Friday. If it gets there too late, then I'm guessing we don't have to sweat it too much because of the other groups that are following along with this that might have someone out in the field. I think everyone has a meeting at the same time, but I might be wrong about that. Hopefully it all works out, though!

Yay!!!
Got my card today. All the way over here in Japan. Don't think I will make it in time to Chicago!! HA! has anyone made any progress in deciphering the file, or has everyone given up on that?

This is my first post here - unfortunately I was away on vacation when the whole datacard stuff cropped up, so I've only just caught up with all of you guys. I'm in the UK and haven't received a card yet, however, today I got this email from Meier:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Great. I'm looking forward to our day at the park. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. I'll need your cell phone number in case we have to move our activities indoors somewhere if it rains. Can you send it to me ASAP? I'll be leaving here early tomorrow morning and I'm not sure if I'll have access to my email while en route. I'll contact you again before I leave.
Don't forget - Willowbrook park in Villa Park at 4pm on July 2nd.
The meet is obviously the same as the email cnote1500 posted, however, was anyone else asked for their cellphone number? I'll probably send it to him and see what happens, hopefully if someone calls/sends a text message it won't get screwed up because it's an international number.

The datacard has not arrived at my work address as of today, and we're closed tomorrow, so I think we may be out of luck for me being able to go to the park.
I am so sorry. I really hope this doesn't screw things up.

Aww man, that stinks! I'll e-mail h.meier now to let him know things fell through. Boo! I was hoping it would have gotten there today... Oh well, I think that someone else SHOULD be there from one of the other forum/groups. Hopefully!

If not, we can totally try for another day, if they want, since I'll surely get it by Wednesday (the next day I'll be at work).
Again, I am so, so sorry. I really am.

Don't fret. This is from H.

Tonight I received an email stating you don't have my item.
You have one more chance to make this happen. Bring it next Saturday or I will report your failure. Your employer does not like failure.
Same time, same place.
H.
So I think they saw that you didn't receive it and decided to give you guys another chance....

Really? Wow, that's interesting... Hey, a second chance! It's weird, though. I e-mailed h.meier saying that I couldn't get the "package with the information they were to discuss" to her in time but that it should be there next week. I didn't get an e-mail like that, though. Well, here's to second chances!

Dude, once I have that datacard in my hot little paws, I will post here, and then we can move forward.
I feel so much better now. Whew.

I hope you got that datacard in the mail, krystyn... Check this out:

URGENT - Op 202A Status Update
Operative:
We recently received secure contact from our deep cover agent at methusalabs concerning Op 202A. His report contained solid evidence that the datacard has yet to reach the hands of any of our Chicago operatives. He asserts that some of the Chicago operatives intended to proceed with the drop without the datacard.
This is a very serious matter. We only have one opportunity to get this datacard to Meier without compromising his undercover status at the lab. You must send the datacard to a Chicago operative and postone the meeting with h.meier until Saturday, July 9th.
Many lives depend on the success of this mission. We have faith that you can succeed.

^^ How is that so bad? It's basically the same plan we had before, they're just putting pressure on us now
