I think this game is dead. Sure seems like it.

It's not dead. It's just moving too slowly.
Bliss.

I agree with Larry7 I think the game is just progressing very slowly.

The fact that it is progressing slowly is actually a blessing for me. I work A LOT and if I don't get on the game for a day or two, I don't miss out on a whole lot except for a WHOLE LOT of SPEC
Anyway, let's be patient. I'm sure when we start blasting runners, things will pick up and get more interesting.
Bliss.

Hah! Me too I always get frustrated in ARGs b/c by the time I even hear about a development the rest of the community has solved it.

It's always been moving this slow, ever since the incredibly thrilling launch
It's not dead, just really slow.

I'm not complaining. I am exceedingly busy and we have gone into crunch mode on my game project, so if we get one development every 3 weeks I will be happy.

maybe this will be an ARG that is going so slow, it scares away all the ADD ARGers so us "chill" people can have a good time
kina like how kids dont go to the symphony, cuz they think its boring, but old people like it, and its slow, and extremely awsome (IE talented musicians)

Man, I bet the PMs would be really flattered being compared to a symphony and "talented musicians."
I know I would be, and I know exactly what you mean tsondie21. Let us hope the "ADD ARGers" will stay away and not fill this forum full of SPEC that shouldn't even be SPEC and let us "chill."
Bliss.

Slow it may be but with ARGs you can never tell what's pre-game and what isn't. How many times did Perplex City "start" before it actually started?

Enough times that I gave up on it
In truth, while I'm happy about the possibility of a slow-paced game that I can potentially keep up with, there still should be a tickler at least every 10 days or so to let the players know the game is still live.

Pshah I say, pshah!
Slow moving is fine but I never thought I would play an ARG where you can actually lose.

Look at Zoe as well. That all of a sudden ended what was apparently pregame.

This is my first ARG ever, so I have no idea at what pace they should progress. Definitely with the holidays for us here in the colonies leastaways the lack of progress has been a bit favorable. Every weekend I have been traveling to be with family, both mine and my wife's (That's right ladies, the ten is married so back off).
ARG's are fun and all, but it is good that it hasn't interfered with my Group organized Pyromania British Butt-kickin' day, or what our friends across the pond call "the rebellion" And oh yeah, sorry to Scotland for our President running down your policeman at G8. I voted for him, but I do not condone bicycle violence.
[EDIT] I wrote the whole Butt-kickin day thing in good fun, meaning the American Revolution before I had gotten the news about the bombings. I am grieved at the violence visited on Great Britain. We love you guys and we are praying for you.

Sure, you can enjoy a slow pace in theory, but that destroys the whole point of the ARG. We're supposed to be immersed in this alternate reality. We're supposed to feel like members of this city, and they did a fine job of that in the beginning.
But playing the game for 10 minutes every 3 weeks does not create any sort of an alternate reality. It has nothing to do with having ADD.
