so yeah. I don't mean to write a post that says exactly what others have said, but ummm... yeah I've got no excuse, so here goes:

Context is King.

As has always been the case with the TINAG concept, the sites used should be consistent with the plot and characters, otherwise, it's a blatant curtain-rending experience that is a distraction rather than a cohesive strategy.

NOW, with many of the "freewebs" hosting ideas, of course, it's getting a little tired. If you've got NO money, and you're supposed to be a multinational corporation, then perhaps you can recruit a friend who would be willing to pony up for some cheap-o hosting, at least. I mean, if you have to do a WHOIS search to find out the PMs, then I'd say that's ok. Obviously higher-budgeted games can produce more secrecy in hiring higher-quality webservers and more private domain regs... however, grassroots, I say that's in-bounds. But the quality of the page itself should be consistent with who has "in-game" produced that page.
