Reading Festival (MUSIC FESTIVAL!)

Okay, okay, I know it's probably not the right place to put this, but there ISN'T really a right place to put this, so I was jsut wondering if there's anyone here going the Reading Festival this year?

I will be, of course Smile

Well, I was hoping to be going to Edinburgh that weekend, but that looks very much like a no-go right now...

So Reading Festival it is! With Hulk Hogan, The Donut Man! Trolley jumping! Hugging strangers with dreadlocks! And maybe, just maybe, seeing a few bands.

Let's hope the weather is a little kinder than it was to Glastonbury...

Now to wonder how many people not in the UK will see this topic and think people go to a book reading festival. Rolling Eyes
Wish I could go to Reading this year, but living on a different continent doesn't assist the transportation costs. I was there last year though. Much fun (and drunkenness) Smile

I'm from the US and I think you're talking about a book reading festival.

/me raises her hand too; was hoping for some good book recommendations. OK, until I read the actual post. Fortunately I don't need a reading festival to teach me how to read!

I can't read. Or type... -WAIT JUST A MINUTE!

How am I doing this? Or This? Or...

Ok, that was a HORRID joke. Feel free to send bikers in flames for that one. Anyway, I would LOVE to go, but I'm trapped in the Heartland of the USA... I wanna meet you Brits! SO BAD! I can totally do the accent. (Actually convinced a pair of Irish girls that I was Scottish once too, in college, but that's an entirely different story not fit for these forums....)

Anyway, have fun you peoples, and I wish I could go!
