I repeat what I said over at notanarg: ARGH THEY WEREN'T READY TO LAUNCH WHY DID THEY LAUNCH?!

Which is a shame because I really want to play this. But there's nothing to play.

Lewis, you're right. This game seems very very Indie though. So indie in fact that it appears to be run by one person. If something comes up then there's not much he can do. I suppose that also counts as lack of preperation though, right?

But listen PM, what's coming next better be good! Razz

"Urban Legends"

Strings wrote:
By the way, I never really found a good link between the two urban legends apart from the fact they they both usually involve an escaped psychopath from a nearby hospital.

The thing that they both have in common is that they are the same stories, just told differently because of the many people that have both told the story and have been told the story.

I think it's the "PM(s)" way of saying that the stories that you have heard about vampires, while based on some truth, are false. The truth has been blurred due to the little bits and pieces that people like to add to stories when they tell them to someone else.

But that's just my speculation. Smile

1st off all the chats you had with this guy were on Yahoo right?

2nd I think we lookedx to far into the 1st question I think the common ground in the storys are:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
scratches

I was reading though the post really fast and if someone said it alrady I'm sorry. In anycase I sent him am e-mail saying that scratches was the link. I also spelled it scraches to see if he would say anything about my spelling.

Okay, salomslot just signed onto Yahoo, but it wasn't Drac. Instead, it appeared to be Mr. Mays, the guy who has gone missing. The following bizarre conversation ensued:

Code:
lewis_the_second: evening

salomslot : Who is this?

salomslot : i have to gt5e help now

salomslot : he wil be back any second

lewis_the_second: pardon?

lewis_the_second: who will be?

salomslot : Drac, left  an hopur ago

salomslot : i got out of the cell and came here

lewis_the_second: Where are you now?

lewis_the_second: This is Lewis

lewis_the_second: I'm trying to find you

lewis_the_second: Where are you? Do you know?

salomslot : i dont know, no window oir anything'

salomslot : ontact someon e for me

lewis_the_second: yes

That's terrible... we could have done with a bit more. We can just send an e-mail to monkSPLATgmail.com, monkSPLAThotmail.com, monkSPLATyahoo.com because I would bet that all of those addresses are in use and all but onw will be out of game.

I'm pretty sure the typos were just there to add credibility, and to create the effect that he was panicking and in a hurry.

HA HA Check this out

I sent this e-mail:

Hello, I was on your site and thought I would help rid the word of evil. I
wanted to know, if I am not being to forward, if anyone on your team is
indeed a vampire themselfs. I have noe problem with that, just wanted to
know.

P.S.

The two clues have Scraching in common.

Remember I spelled it wrong to see if he would say anying about it. In return I got a message that said i was from Caleb Johnson:

Mr. Houlihan (My real name), Mr. Mays crusade is now over. He is incapacitated and will not be able to do any vampire slayings for a very long while.
By the way, you spelled scratches wrong.

What a damn Hypocrite huh? In anycase this implys that Mr. Mays runs the website and Drac is taking it over. Also a note for some reason some letters were smaller then others. The small letters alone are:

Mr. Houlihan, Mr. Mays crusade is now over. He is i By the way, you spelled s wrong

to save you the work, that large letters alone were:

ncapacitated and will not be able to do any vampire slayings for a very long while. cratches

Lastly for some reason he felt the need to send this message to me twice.

I lied, one last thing, I can't seem to get yahoo messanger to download right, any suggestions?

EDIT: Did some Google work on Caleb Johnson and all I got was some college student that is more then likely out of game. Also as a note Caleb was the vampire on Port Charles but that was Caleb Morley, don't ask how I know that.

Quote:
He is i By the way

He is I?

Does he mean he's 'taken over' Mr. Mays, in that lovely vampiric way they do?
