Already got the Googlebar, a FF extension, which I like better because it doesn't take up a whole toolbar. That's nice if you want to cram a few more buttons in, or if you don't like having 6 toolbars at the top of your screen taking up space.

In addition to the toolbar, I'm also using Google Desktop, which searches everything, including files on your computer, and can also float on your desktop or get thrown over into a sidebar -- but most importantly, it means I can save the $200 it would have cost me when Vista (previously Longhorn) comes out. I'm told Jaguar does this as well.

Pff. Jaguar is old news. Tiger is where its at. THough spotlight is brilliant. Searches like an index, so you type the letter S, it brings up all the things that start with S. You type ST, it brings up all the Sts, etc. WOnderful app. WOuld reccommend Tiger to all.

For PC users, the Deskbar is a godsend though. Looks like the new Vista is going to be a big dud. Back when it was called Longhorn, it was supposed to include the automatic indexing/search function like Tiger, but a recent preview of the beta version makes no mention of it.

"Vista renders complex images with more detail than before, producing photo-quality wallpaper for your desktop." Woop-de-damn-doo.
