[PUZZLE] Words printed across cards. It appears that there might be big letters printed faintly across the card-pack, so that when we have all the cards we'll be able to read a big message. I'll keep this top-post updated to reflect new cards we find that contain a portion of the image.
From the big slab-serifs, it looks a little like the font reading Avast on #042 Orange - Pirates vs Ninjas .

So far, every card I've seen with what might be letters also has a 'playing card'. If it continues this way it probably isn't necessary to keep two seperate lists.
I'm guessing that since the playing cards seem to be tied to the Shuffle puzzle, the words printed across the cards are going to end up tied to a silver card we've yet to see.

That is a sound point, Flidget.
On the other hand, if there are 52 PPCards with "playing card" symbols, that works out as one-in-five cards marked in that manner. With only two "faint writing" cards so far then it could just be a chance overlap.
As always, it looks like we'll just have to wait and see!

Okay... these are the cards I've noticed with the letters in the corners:
#017 Easy As - Bottom left corner
#019 Magic Numbers - Both right corners
#041 Whipsmart Wordsearch - All four corners
#107 Blockword - All four corners
#179 By Another Name - All four corners
#251 The Thirteenth Labour - All four corners
Also ones I'm not sure about due to the scan, but still look like they could;
#013 Sphinx - Both top corners
#059 Urban Myths - Both left corners

It isnt going to be easy to put these together. I started looking at how many cards we have and how they piece together (mostly just a fFew diagonals. nothing really inspiring; i'll keep you posted) But i saw this little uhm, situation. those grey giant letters don't match up. We're going to have to piece something huge together with no other coordination across cards. I've attached 17 + 19 so you can see what i mean. the connecting edges both have letters, in entirely different places.
Not that I'm complaining .. i'm sure it will come together somehow. I love a good challenge!
Description
the giant letters dont match up at all.

the letters may not match up by putting the cards in numerical order, we may have to piece them together ourselves like a jigsaw, which will then give us the right order for the card deck to go with the solitaire cipher thingy. possibly anyway.

Sphinx doesn't have any letter edges on it...
Also to note; all the cards I own with a playing card symbol on also have the edges of letters on too.

Cheers for clearing that one up, and yeah it does look as though every card that I've seen with the playing card symbols has letters and vice versa.

#013 - The Sphinx DOES have a playing card on it (8 of diamonds) and DOES have the faint piece of lettering in the upper right corner.

I think I may have a link up with the letters between #079 strange loops and #013 sphinx. there is a probable match between the top/bottom right corners of strange loops and the top/bottom corners of sphinx (the bottom left corners letter is very hard to see, but you can pick up the edge of it.) Also, strange loops has no letter pieces on it's left side, indicating it's placed on the starting edge of the message.

It also may come after a space between words, it is a sentence (probably) not one word.

Using the bits we have now, i can make tiny scattered fFragments of:
I think whatever we are writing is 5 cards across, with one word to a line. And some word begins with a G i think. too scattered to get anything more profound so fFar. *sigh*.
