Yeah, I'm not convinced that the significance of the flowers has anything to do with *them* being eaten. Clearly, we're worried about the answer to the central recipe (which I gave above). 'Edible love' is simply a play on the fact that the recipe can be used in a romantic respect - I assume this to be a historical reference, because certain foods are traditionally made for e.g. Valentine's Day, but I can't currently confirm it. The flowers may be nothing more than 'wallpaper' utilised to fill in space on a card that would otherwise look pretty empty. And flowers are suitably romantic, I guess. There's no absolute guarantee that there's any significance to them at all. But I might have thought that'd it be worth it for MC to use the picture for some reason, rather than none at all. That's not to say they did.

Rhododendrons Yes they are rhododendrons - or rather a rhododendron if the picture is of only one shrub.
But the important point, I learned in a different ARG. The City of Florence, Oregon is known as the City of Rhododendrons. So there is at least one relationship between the shrub and the florentines.

Which ARG was that? Because some of the other cards seem to be referencing other ARGs as well, so there may be some sort of larger puzzle going here.
Or the PMs are getting their general ARG love on. Either or.

which arg It wasn't a solve to a puzzle or anything. Just some information I picked up while searching for answers to a puzzle in AWARE.

They are Rhodedendroms or however you spell it.
Azaleas are edible types of Rhodedendroms, so it says here
I don't see what this has to do with the answer, as
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
florentines
aren't rhodendroms or azaleas.

Most rhododendron species are native to Southeat Asia, with a range beginning in the Himalayas.
While rhododendron nectar is toxic, you'd need to consume quite a lot of it for it to be fatal (the reference I found quoted between 100-225 grams of leaves to make a 55-pound child 'seriously ill.') There is however a condition called honey poisoning, caused by eating honey made from rhododendron nectar.

Anyone else out here wondering about the backside of the card? Mine is BLANK, no map, and no Sente.... Just a blue-greyish colour....
New to this, so I've not got that many cards yet, but this is the first card with blank reverse i've seen...
Any other cards like that?

Actually, I think you'll find that this is a picture of the sea/water off the East Coast of Perplex City. There is no city on the back of the card, it is meant to be this colour. No error here.
