It is normal for you to forget the initial stage of your recruitment
process. Please do not worry as the procedure was completed without any
glitches. We are pleased to tell you that your counterpart is one of our
most successful recruits. You will be visited by it very shortly to
complete the final stage of your recruitment. In the meantime, please wait
in anticipation.

This will be our final communication to you as we are going on holiday.

Do not contact us any further

Is it just me, or do these guys spend a lot of time on vacation?

Maybe the cloning process isn't completely successful and some of the umm, more important bits don't exactly make it Very Happy

And yes - way too many vacations. I think I need to work for them.

http://diecybexdie.bravehost.com has been shut down by the Department of Homeland security.....

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
But if you check the source code....

<!-- The idiots didn't even change the password! We're back in die.html -->

http://diecybexdie.bravehost.com/die.html there you have it.
[/spoiler]

This may explain why some emails were rejected...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
What is a cybex?

A cybex is a very evil, evil thing. Short for Cybernetic Extraterrestrials. (The "ez" at the end was added just because they wanted to sound "cool". They're also based in California so that's another explanation.) Cybexez are alien life-forms generated on the fly using advanced nano-bot probes that infiltrate the human body. Before the infiltration process, human DNA is analyzed to determine suitability. Certain DNA strands are rejected immediately, but we are unware of the reasons at the time of writing this message.

After reading the last entry in the FAQ on die.html its clear that phorbiddenapple is in this "group". It would explain his trust obsession bit.

Also, IM NOT FREAKIN GETTING CLONED.

Also, why is a picture of St. Peter the Apostle used as Legba?

Very funny stuff.

This is a case where another religion absorbed aspects of Christianity rather then the other way around.

Adopting Saints as representations of Loa let them practice their faith in relative peace. It could also be seen as covering one's bases.

BTW - I've got a lot of stuff to do today, but ya may want to check if google was able to cashe the page before it was changed?

Thanks to Clayfoot for finding:
9775 South Maryland Parkway Suite F-118
Las Vegas, Nevada 89123

Ah, it's gotta be "Postnet." It's one of those pack-n-ship places that has mail boxes. Postnet has the whole suite, so #F-118 must be a mail box in there somewhere. No specific listing for #F-118, but some magician has #F-102. postnet

I can't find anything that lists 1938 South Carnington Drive
Hollywood, California 90028 as even existing. Anybody know the area?

Street Name Lookup for zip code 90028

There's no street name that's even close to "Carnington" in that zip code.

Get a Canon EOS (original) Rebel body for pretty cheap these days, and add this lens to it.

So, update on Sarah's blog, stating she received email from The Hateful:

"Congratulations. You have figured out the WHAT. You may proceed further."

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
... went back to http://www.freewebs.com/thehateful/proceed.html and noticed, sure enough, that "WHAT is Steve" is greyed out, and "WHERE is Steve" is now listed... and above that is the (not so) cryptic message:

"a FERRET COuld RePlace a rat
DO noT proceed COMpletely"

Taking all the CAPS and putting them together leads to:

www.ferretcorp.com

Next thing discovered:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Select the "Information" link at the top of the page, then go to the bottom... and there's a link to download a file called "FLOPPY2", file name f2jkx8as.zip. Download, unzip and ... you guessed it... a password-protected file, with ALOT of files in it.
