OK no dice on Seymour...like I said must have meant SEE MORE. This means someone else had to have been calling. If it wasn't from Travis, and it was very clearly a male's voice than it wasn't Kara or Yours Truly. Yours Truly is either working with someone else or has another enemy we don't know about...possibly someone from the law firm?


I think we should ask more questions about the mayoi puzzle. He could have mean see more of that.

Ergh...either she's getting confused between the two games (& taking them both way too seriously)...or she's maybe IG for .hack? (this is an MSN convo between caelum & Little, btw). And it does strike me as really weird that she makes a big deal about being 13... I had a convo with her myself tonight. I think she may have thought I was IG for a bit. Confusing...

Anyhow...I can't help but feel we've overlooked something because we've kind of got to a dead end & I for one am not quite sure where to go from here.

A few things keep niggling me. One is the band I Love You, But I've Chosen Darkness...I still can't find any lyrics for them & I'm wondering from YT's speech if there's some significance there. Another is that we haven't heard much from Kara since they stopped commenting in the source code (plus, despite what Travis said, there isn't a copy of the phone call avail from what I can tell?). Travis also mentions that he's setting up alternate emails for Kara & him to communicate with...& that he has a livejournal ("also, my interests are fairly incriminating, but they're also mostly lies taken from my livejournal" & his other blogger blog "doorknobs n' broomsticks" is empty). And I'm still a bit confused whether the Toast, conscrew & starvedart sites are IG or using the game for a bit of promo.

Sigh...head's spinning...guess I'll wait for Travis' posters to arrive & see if there are any clues on those...

 		Well I certainly agree that we've missed something.

I've tried all I can think of (which isn't alot admittedly) on the 'commercial whore.jpg, but cant seem to get anything from it.

There are also quite a few loose ends, like the band mentioned above, the use of an apostrophe in the word Lit'tle, the use of oddly placed question marks in Travis' email to me (maybe just a reference to the fact that there ARE so many questions). There are also a few minor inconsistancies, like the convention date being in June, and Hiro going missing from the convention in May?

YT keeps going on about how people won't trust Travis once she tells everyone the truth. Maybe the commercial whore pic is a clue to the 'other' blog, so we can see what Travis is really like, in YT's eyes. I can kind of make out the word 'temple' in it, so I tried using camouflage on it using the password temple and nothing.

Starting to lie in bed at night mulling over where on earth do we go from here.


Apologies if the above was inane rambling, just thinking aloud (kind of) and hoping that something in here will twitch the mind of someone and get us onto something.

According to Camouflage, there's nothing hidden in the file (anyhow, they're unlikely to do that twice, are they?)...so I wonder if the uncovered letters are some sort of code? It's a bit hard to make out what they are because the black areas overlap some of the letters but I think they are:

g.'sVERYd.Aft'stprn.'
'SKYS'sg.'
'Snegecrisrhepamrs,asosmnevsttnpe.
'Wan...beidid,adbee

(someone correct me if I've made a mistake...it's hard to read).

I've tried ROT & Vignere cipher (using as many things as I can think of as a key)...maybe it's an anagram of some sort? Might take a while to work out if it's an anagram...each line comes back with a lot of options...

 		About the commercial whore picture... Has anybody tried finding the original picture on Kara's website yet? Maybe the blacked out words are the message?

I asked about playing along with Yours Truly just to get info...and that was what he replied with. Again I think there is definetly a third party involved. Yours Truly knows some things...but there is someone else behind it all. e.g. The Law Firm?

 		I think the law firm has something significant to do with the storyline...particularly as Travis has already told us he couldn't reveal what was under the blacked out portions of Mayoi's photo due to legal reasons.

I tried to find the unaltered picture a wee while ago but didn't succeed...might try again...YT's instructions to "dig deep" could indicated a code or something hidden that requires a password?

As an aside, I got a reply from YT when I sent my address...she said to "watch that friendly postal service." Ooooohhhh...getting things in the mail. Yippee. I hope customs find anything dead or explosive before it gets here Shocked

Just noticed this...the password on "truly" (ie on the "dig deep page") is different...didn't it used to be

Step one is a simple code.

Each circle represents a letter of the alphabet...1 dot=A, 2=B, etc...so the word is CANINI
Haven't worked out step two, though - it's more than just a straight translation of the morse.
