[META] Puzzle Card Size

So, the cards are finally out (sort of) and we're getting our grubby mitts on 'em. I thought I'd mention the size of the cards and see if anyone had any thoughts.

The cards are obviously bigger than the average baseball card/trading card. This is nice for one reason: there's more to look at and you're not squinting to read the puzzles. But as a business idea, will it work for MC?

I mean, we're in agreement that this is a game for the sake of the game, I think. Wouldn't it have been a better idea to follow the standard model (Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh, etc.)? That way, collectors (which is where the game has the real potential to make long-term impact) would be able to organize them in their mylar sleeves and card boxes for storage.

Unless of course the idea is to mark the cards up, toss them around and not try to keep them in mint condition. Then whatever.

Just a bit of a ramble, I guess.

I think the card format is purely for portability. We are meant to be able to take them wherever we want, and abuse them as much as needed to solve a puzzle.
