Nice work! I don't know how you guys/gals do it!

I don't know either, Jamesi was just spitting out the results he was getting from the hex proggie, nothing that made any sense to most of us, but when Katya made the comment the guys just grabbed both ends of it and Pulled.....

The number 8305022133 appeared on both pages at the very bottom, although it was partially obscured on the first page. Attempts to call that number (830 502-2133) resulted in the "your call cannot be completed as dialed" message. The 830 area code is in Texas.

It looks like the number on the first page is 8305022132

And neither was in service at the time of the original document - 830 is a "new" area code, not in use until the early 90s, and may have split again into two area codes since that time...

But now Red Knight is the one that needs to prove himself.

going to http://www.cfrg.us/mirror/parascope/ gives a new page with some working links to content, and some links that bounce to the cfrg.us site "page not found".

This is not a new page, we first saw this site when the "Mirrors" link first appeared on the main CFRG page. If you go to http://www.cfrg.us/mirror, you'll see Parascope.com at the bottom, and it's been there for awhile.

Any "page not found" errors, I'm guessing, are a result of the PMs making errors in mirroring the sites, or perhaps not choosing to mirror a portion of the site. If you list specifically where you're getting the error messages, they just might fix them...

Nah, nah, nah, just put them in one of the LARGE freezers over there... We have a fish fry at the end of the game.

Publix? You must be from Florida... I haven't seen a Publix that people actually shopped at since I lived down there. Very Happy and I miss Publix, 'cause all the grocery chains here in the midwest suck... Sad

quick question

Congrats guys - I'm learning more about cryptography here than in four years of Computer Science... Really makes sense once you've seen it.

Quick question: Am I missing out terribly if I don't also email Caretaker? I mean, I wanna be on this 'trusted' list of his - but I didn't think I'd have to take credit for every solve in-game!

I do believe everyone here (Brown People) and at Collective Detective (Blue People) are considered to be one team, or we should be, since 2/3 of us overlap groups.

Jamesi may have made the solve, but you are part of his Team.

As far as I'm concerned, with all the work we do as a group, it is rare that a solve can be attributed to just one person. Everyone ends up offering some form of input to the process, even if it's just kicking one or two words into someone's head that ends up triggering a thought.

I remember playing the Beast and never going into #evanchan for fear of a newbie-bomb. When Lockjaw came around, I became a fixture in #jawbreakers. I encourage everyone who has access to IRC chat software (and for those without, I point to the Unfiction Chat Applet) to join us in #acheron -- it is quite a fun experience.

And no, I'm not taking $ on the side from chat-sol. Spacely, on the other hand, pays me in pornographic magazine subscriptions.

Is he sending you those home-made ones? I had to ask him to stop.
