Shocked

My current theory is that you're the real Durga, and that Kristen is just a red herring. This, despite the fact that all evidence clearly points to this line of thought being wrong.

My identity as Harry Potter will, in all likelihood, make this a difficult task. We all know what my people think about technology...let's just say you'll never see a wizard on the moon.

I think with that line I can die happy Jetpack

To actually talk about Halo 2 again, I friggin hate brutes on legendary. HATE HATE HATE. Once they berzerk, you're pretty much screwed if you can't needle them in time.

It must be nice to be able to survive on Legendary long enough to actually meet a brute. Embarassed

This is why Carbines are your friend. Personally, I find Banshees on Legendary to be the most destructive forces to ever exist.

Nah, I'm gonna agree with UberS on that one, Playing on Leg. I usually let the accompanying hero characters just sit back and kill them off.

I was getting vertigo reading all the nested quotes. I could just SEE Jimmy Stewart's head popping up instead of text if I didn't do something quick.

There are only two tactics on legendary.

Run like hell while everyone is distracted and hope they stay that way,
or just use guerilla style hit & run tactics, which promises to take about a day to get past a level, assuming you dedicate a good chunk of time to it. In my experience, Halo 1's legendary campaign was easier since the plasma pistol just destroyed everything...but this one has all sorts of spots that seem custom built to watch players squirm. On the plus side, allies aren't so useless, I recall the Elites in the first flood level being very helpful on the elevator ride, and marines armed with sniper rifles are just slaughterers.

That beginning of Gravemind on legendary though, geez...it's like Bungie wants to see you cry. "Hm, I could go hang out on the bleachers in this room, and not get shot, but then I can't hit the stupid rampaging Brute! Why, why, WHY do they take so long to give me a carbine?" Banshees on legendary, I'm less afraid of, simply because whenever they popped up, I was either riding in a hog too fast for them to catch, flew past them in my own banshee, or had a rocket launcher.
