He I emailed Scott:
Code:
my last main page was these keys... you had to resize your browser so the
keys of one color would spell out "SPY.ORG" and then click on the "." for
3 screens... to get in -- but I thought that was far too easy.

The numbers now are used in a different way -- I figurd it would give
cypherpunks something to play with...

but I am definitely looking for a new thing to do that's interesting, yet
doesn't slam low bandwidth users.

Scott

Well that's interesting...
Has anyone gotten in yet?

EASY? EASY? IWithout any hints, I think this is one of the hardest website puzzles I have come across.

I'm in

I was clicking around on the little dots that appear at the top of the screen (many of them are links). They all lead back to the home page, seemingly, but u'll notice the URL has changed, as have the number and arrangment of the dots.

ANYWAY, just by chance, one of the dots took me somewhere.

www.aw.gov.pl

I clicked "ENGLISH VERSION" and played with it for a while. It was moderately interesting for about 5 minutes. Then I backed up (in my browser) to the main page that I originally was taken to. I tried to go back one more time to Spy.org...it took me there for a brief moment, then redirected me here:

www.abw.gov.pl

Didn't really play around with that. One more time hitting the back button on my browser took me again to Spy.org only briefly, then quickly redirected me here:

www.mi5.gov.uk

I don't know if I was supposed decrypt something on Spy.org or what (there were a LOT of numbers there, just click on the dots and watch u'r URL), but this accident seems to be somewhat fortunate.

If anybody else is still interested in this topic, figure it out. Post u'r findings when u do.

***WARNING***

***WARNING***
After clicking on the right dot on Spy.org, and being redirected to those sites, I CAN'T GO BACK TO SPY.ORG.

Everytime I try to go there or to this Scott guy's home page, it takes me to a random countrie's intelligence agency home page. I cleared cookies, temp internet files and history. Still can't go there.

So if u wanna continue having fun on Spy.org, don't solve it!

I have to admit, I find it really creepy that I can't get back to spy.org once I left it.

Seems like the sites you are transferd to instead of spy.org have clues to get back into the site, meaning that Spy.org is the "lock" and those sites are the "Keys".

I'm gonna have to vote OOG on this one

On bottom of sites main page

This is an official U.S. Navy web site.
Designed and maintained by the ONI Security and Corporate Operations Directorate.
Office of Naval Intelligence, Washington DC

I maybe looking at this puzzle out of context, however I wouldn't dig too deep into real goverment operated websites, as much of the ones you have listed are...

But I'm sure you already know this.
