Yo, Giskard, seein as you're the only one who got the email and you're also the longest serving UFer here, I'd say that email's got a clue somewhere.

Yeah I remember when I came around ILB the only other thing was interested in was Orbital Colony. I thought to myself, "I'll play this next" thinking it would trailhead soonish.

I'm excited to see this has, at long last, launched!
I submitted the name Oblio: the main character from Nilsson's 'The Point'.
It also translates from Italian to oblivion.
So this name either has a point *or* it's destined to be disregarded and forgotten. Smile

Wishful thinking Question

I really wish I had recieved one, but alas... I was just checking if I was the only one not recieving it... from the automated response that Machina Kyrios got, which said that they are having "problems with their mailserver", I guess we can deduct that that's probably the reason we did not recieve our confirmation mails?

We'll have to wait and see... up till now, the original www.orbitalcolony.com has not changed from "soon to be launched" status yet, so this might just be an early warning sign that the game is about to start...

 		Is it just me being paranoid, or does it seem likely that the name we gave our rock will be our username in the game? We play a rock or summat. I just don't really want to spend a couple of months known as Steg! It would be an interesting way to get players to enter their info, though.
