ARGFEST puzzle - spirals haven't checked the board yet and am still just barely recovering from ARGFest exhaustion.
but - what about the spirals and the coins? Were those solved?
SpaceBass took photos of the stack before we dismantled it - there may be a clue in that. If he hasn't posted them, please get him to do so!
I am reluctant to admit that I have a whole stack of spirals left here - I just cant undertake being the distributor of them but I don't want to throw them out - so is there anyone I can send the whole thing to- they are very light, who would undertake distrbuting them? No coins are left and it seems the ones i had set aside for myself and to send to colin and dorkmaster as part of the swag for winning the T-shirt contest have mysteriously disappeared.

Yeah there was a spiral/coin thing that was determined to be from omnifam.
I suppose I'd be happy to distribute them (although it might take a bit, seeing as I'm going out of town Thursday, coming back Sunday, and then leaving Monday again for a week).
However I think the more important thing is that we SOLVE the puzzle - is there any way to get the puzzletext and/or scan and/or readable photos in this thread?
I am almost positive everyone at ARGfest was too busy to solve it, if I recall correctly from #argfest.

For those of us that weren't at ARGFest, could we get some details?
Who had the spirals & coins?
Are they the same ones that some of us received in the mail today?
Who else received them and by what means?
ETA: Removed pic - Ursos was kind enough to post them all in the "Omnifam Bombing and Evidence" thread.

Those coins are separate, I think. Anyone who got stuff in the mail should go over to http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11807
This thread is just for the ARGfest puzzle. I mean, I haven't seen it yet. They could be related, but I think we should assume they're separate until we have evidence otherwise.

Well, I'm going to be gone all next week myself, but aside from that, I could also distribute these "coins" or whatever they are (as long as I get one!). Speaking of which, yeah, s'more details would be nice on this. Do they look the same as the ones we're getting in the mail? The <0> on one side and a letter on the other? And what are the "spirals"? I've got a camera, so if I do end up getting them to distribute, I could post pictures of everything.

I didn't see a "stack," cos I was watching the panels, and then lou came over and brought me a spiral and a coin, but essentially, the coins are gold in color, and have a letter on one side, and a Rambaldi symbol on the other. They seem to be made of sealing wax, or some such like material. Light. Non-metallic.
The spiral is a piece of paper cut in a spiral, and has the same text on each spiral (as far as I could tell), starting at the outer edge, and working towards the middle. In the loops of some of the letters (like R's and G's and Y's and any letter with an enclosed part), there were more letters. I extracted them and wrote them out, but there's one letter I am not sure of.
I will scan it tomorrow, because I just flew in from NYC this evening, and I am WAY TIRED, but I will say that the spiral text has Arvin's name mentioned, so.

I mentioned letters in the loops of the letters of the words in the spiral.
This is what I have in my journal when I transcribed it at the ARGfest panels:

I'm pretty much a n00b to the ARG scene, so sorry if this is incredibly obvious to everyone - but I was just looking at the mail envelope I received today from Omnifam with the coin/paper inside, and I noticed that the postage mark is from NYC. Which I'm assuming is where the ARGfest you guys are talking about was held. So perhaps the spirals/coins you guys saw/collected there are connected to what we got in the mail?
And if someone is kind enough to distribute whatever was collected, may I shamelessly ask to be among the receiving?

Would it be possible to get the image a bit bigger (more along the lines of a width of 1200px or so)? If Flickr wont allow it, I dont mind hosting it. Not having the actual article in front of me, it would help for the image to be at least large enough to more clearly see the characters in the loops and help make the caps a little less difficult to determine given the handwriting.

Sure, I'll re-scan tonight.
I *did* post my own transcription of the letter sequence upthread as well, since I did it from the spiral sitting in front of me at ARGfest.

I know I keep double-posting here, but there's been gaps of time between posts big enough that I didn't want to go back and edit the previous one with new information.
