How about we consider other sufficient cities/locations to hold the EuroARG other than London? I know London would be much better, for there is the opportunity for it to be held nearby the MindCandy base, but hey...these things happen

Not meaning to throw a spanner in the works, but isn't this kinda soon after ARGfest NYC? Would it be better to space them out a bit so that there's time to organise something similarly splendiferous. It also allows time for people to organise travel from the rest of Europe to wherever it's going to be. Just a thought
It also gives people that just blew too much money in New York (like me ) an opportunity to save up some cash!

Euro Winter ARGFest in Amsterdam sounds good to me.
Holding it half a year after the NYC event allows:
- time to organize the event
- people to keep the date free in their calendar
- saving up money to go
- recovering from the last ARGFest
- an ARGFest every 6 months

Umm, guys, not to disappoint you or anything, but... you DO know you are all replying to a thread from last year right?!
So there's not going to be a EuroARGfest this august, sorry...
And Kender, yes, Amsterdam would be my favorite too, ofcourse, but seeing that we are the only two that are relatively close, and there are hundreds of ARGers in the ole' UK, we'd probably better give in

Ah! That would be might fault. Thought I ought to own up before you all start pointing the finger. Sorry . So what, doesnt mean one still cant be organised. Besides, Nik_Doof wishes one to be held in Liverpool or Manchester.

Certainly not, but we might want to take some time and organise it properly I would have no problem coming to the UK for EuroARGfest, but then there should be something substantial and well organised, because I wouldn't be persuaded to drive/fare/fly there for "just" a meetup I guess...
I'm all for a EuroARGfest though, and I'd be willing to help out with organisation too (although that is probably a lot less effetcive when you don't live in or near the place it will be held).

the one im tryin to organise is a meetup, not a fest
I think we need to start a new thread with some serious ideas about a EUARGfest (doesnt that just roll of your tounge?)
