The first 2 are probably easier for me than the 2nd 2, but I could probably make any of them... Smile

I think there's a general preference for the earlier two weekends. The later we hold it, the more time we have to plan stuff...

Sat 10th September, then?

To the ashes or the festival? I'll email him and give him the date on thursday. On a general note, from the responses (or lack thereof) that I have got from MInd Candy on certain days, I would say that they don't work weekends or mondays, so there should be very few updates.

Aaaaah, no, not the first two weekends! I can't make that and this sounds so much fun. Of all the times to be in Norway.

Good grief, Google tells me there's a bar in Clapham called The Puzzle. I totally hope that's where the fabled MC brainstorming meetings happen, it would be too good. And I don't care if the glasses are dirty! (

Sadly, it's not the most salubrious of places. Although I appreciate it may have to be an U-18 event and nor would I like a huge drinking session, it would be nice to have a pint during the day.

I'm trying to arrange it so that alcohol will be available to those who want it, without it being a focal point. So for those U18 there will be non-alcoholic drinks, but it won't be a drinking focused day.

It's very much a co-operation thing. They are taking care of most of the logistics and cost (so a contribution from us wouldn't go awry). I help in other ways that are unmentionable.
One of the greatest things that I am getting out of this is a really good relationship with Mind Candy (Michael Smith in particular, who has been kind enough to give me his work and mobile numbers, which I can't give you) SO NER NER! Raspberry

Increasingly sinister.

Apparently I've played poker against him once, although I wasn't aware it was 'the bloke who does firebox'. I was supposedly beating him as well before he was moved to a different table.
