Honestly. More good games will come along. Yeesh.

Since Halo 2 is largely secondary from making this a general "Let's talk with buddies" thread...

A 10th PLANET!

I'm so excited, I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight.

The debate will take months, if not years, since it goes down to the core of what seperates planets from planetoids and brown dwarfs. Nevertheless the IAU has kept Pluto as a planet, and this thing has no real reason not to be.

Speaking of debates...about Xbox 360 means of media.
It will have basic Dvd Drive at launch but thanks to a Toshiba partnership, it will also have a HD-Dvd Drive sometime afterwards.

Then again, Gates has been known for speaking too soon, anyone remember the Times article? Someone made an Embarassed

WOOT!

You do know that the 9th planet isn't realy a planet... its a quatra belt astroid ( i think its quatra belt). It's just a realy big one. So I don't think that this 10th planet will be anything different.

O yea I'm not yet back like I was. I will be poping on every now and then on this and live.

Goody. Smile I'd rather be pleasantly surprised than expect more than is doable and be disappointed.

On a related tangent (? is that a valid phrase?) I grabbed a copy of the bungie.net webcam about five minutes ago and it looks, well, distorted in a sorta-familiar way. Odds are it's just an accidental file corruption, but just in case I'll attach a copy here so those who actually know steganography can shoot it down in flames.

You're a doctor and a professor of Bungiology. It's valid if you say it is.

On a casual look through the picture opened in notepad, I found nothing of interest (except those cool little symbols. Man, where do they come up with those things?)

Hmm, I was sure I had some important reason for writing here ...

I didn't find anything when I opened it in Notepad2, but I gave it only a cursory glance.

However, the pic is kinda funny when you play with the color levels and contrast:

D'oh! I was taking a swig of beer when that last picture came up, and I actually did the "check the bottle, what the heck is in there?" look you see in the movies.

-- Steve was making sure that the brewer hadn't slipped absinthe in with the hops and barley. Colours, the purty colours...
