I saw those ads too! It was awesome! Well timed too, last nights episode spent a lot of time in the airport. and a lot of shots of the Oceanic Air logo featured in the ad. I love when stuff like that happens and I get to explain ARGs to everyone watching with me.

Been watching ABC for like 30 hours straight and finally saw one during prime time. Great comercials just wish I knew why they were doing this now and not during the season or even the final...

Just got an email as an Oceanic Air Frequent Flyer...
I was hoping this would turn out to be more than this
Quote:
Dear Frequent Flyer -
Welcome to Oceanic Airlines -- and thank you for signing up for a weekly bulletin from the writers of "Lost."
We have just reconvened to begin work on Season 2 of the series - after some much-needed vacation and a highly eventful first year that began with the crash of Oceanic Airlines 815 and literally ended with a bang as Jack, Locke and Kate blew open the mysterious hatch while young Walt was kidnapped by The Others... and yes, they were The Others!
As we set out to dramatize such mysteries as the contents of the mysterious hatch and the uncertain fate of Michael, Sawyer and Jin, last seen treading water among the burning remains of the raft -- we thought you might want to know the writers who will be responsible for bringing you the answers -- and a whole lot of new questions -- during the second season.
In addition to series creators J.J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof, Carlton Cuse returns as executive producer. "Lost" is a reunion for Cuse and Lindelof - who worked together on Cuse's creation "Nash Bridges" (Cuse also created "Martial Law" and co-created "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr"). Before co-creating "Lost," Lindelof served as writer/producer on "Crossing Jordan."
New additions to the staff include co-executive producer Steven Maeda, whose previous credits include "The X-Files" and "CSI: Miami," supervising producer Craig Wright, who previously wrote for HBO's "Six Feet Under," and producer Elzabeth Sarnoff, whose previous credits include "Deadwood" and "Crossing Jordan."
Returning from season one are supervising producers Leonard Dick, whose credits include "Fastlane" and "Hack," Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, formerly of "Felicity" and "Popular," and Javier Grillo-Marxuach who previously wrote on "Boomtown" and "The Pretender."
With this team in place, you can be sure that "Lost" will pack on the surprises on year two. As a Frequent Flyer, you will receive regular updates from the writers room -- so watch your inbox...
...and thank you for getting lost with us!

Yeah... I mean, the Alias Webpuzzle(s) kind of led us to believe they were capable of more than this.
Although, as much as I believe that Omnifam is a grassroots, independant game, I'm curious as to how they acquired a replica of a Rambaldi document and also, whether it'll look any good (an Unfictioner just bought it off ebay).

This is REALLY not what I wanted to hear! Okay so they'll answer 3 questions and throw another 10 at us! Ughh now they know we're addicted and they're increasing the dose.

For our British compatriots, there is now a TOTALLY FRIGGIN' AWESOME Lost mini-site timed to coincide with the BBC launch of the first season:

Seriously, check this out, I like it even more than oceanic-air. Atmosphere-wise, it's killer.

Tis Channel 4 whos showing it, not BBC. I doubt the BBC would ever flog out for a series like this.

Yes, it is an awesome site but if you haven't seen the whole of the first series, I wouldn't do too much exploring (ie. any), they've not been very subtle with some things.

just viewed the Lost Revealed behind the scenes that was on e4. looks very good - it appears that the actors dont know the story either. and they say that the episodes are filmed 3 weeks prior to broadcast! Also, another thing they said was that they include lots of clues in the background etc, so for example boy reads comic that features a polar bear, just before they... im hooked already

Wow this series looks nice...I can't wait to find out more about the series before exploring the channel 4 site.
(Episode 2 spoiler...)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
that message thing...having been played for 16 years...FREAKY AS HELL!
Chippy: reminds me of how 24 was filmed.
