Some of the cards have a different texture. The red, orange, blue and purple have a rough texture while the yellow, green & black appear to be smoother. I wonder if this has anything to do with which will change with sunlight (or may appear different under blacklight etc).
I am now going to sunbathe one tray of reds and one tray of yellows! Feel like I am running an experiment from my school days!

Hmm.. today mine were out in the sun all day long and it was a pretty sunny day.. nothing happened... Hopefully some more days will help. They were taped to my bike so that I could move them around with the sun
BTW, youre right mima.. hmm. but what does it mean... heh.

I hate to ask the obvious but have any of you tried sun-bathing both sides? Nothing says whether the maps can't have this property, huh? A good flip every few minutes should keep the poor things from burning
Also, there could be some glow-in-the-dark action - a charge in the sunlight and a quick dose of darkness should test that quickly.

hmm.. youre right toongoon, I thought that I would take one day frontside, the next backside and so on. Otherwise you have to flip them over all the time. I hadnt thought about the glow-in-the-dark effect, Ill try that today. Actually I´m moving to Vietnam in less than a week so theres a whole lot of sun except in the rainy seasons. And if anyone should wonder, NO, there is not war anymore in Vietnam! ( dont get offensed , Im just tired of that question.)

Heat was used here to change a Silver card. Pretty exciting.

that is hella cool
i was lucky enough to get this card in the 4 packs i got from firebox and just tried it out!
interestingly enough you can actually tell theres something different going on because the heat reactive ink stuff on the end lots of letters is slightly raised. am now going to check all my other cards for random textures since im not good enough at riddles to work things out for myself ;)
rach =)

Welcome to the group. It's always nice to see new faces around here. Good luck on checking your cards for extra clues. Also, for future reference, to keep from double posting, you can use the EDIT button in the top right of your posts to add new information

Toongoon linked to #243 "Shuffled" where letters dissapeared under heating.
My card #243 did it the other way around. When I got it I could only see the letters from a certain angle but it wasn't until it had been on my desk for a couple of days that I notised that the "hidden" letters had turned grey.
Could this be "text that appears after days in daylight" ?
I will try and heat my card to see if it will make the letters dissapear again.
