i'm guessing is the last step (fin) and i'm also guessing that CANINI is the user....but the password? i'm not sure....11x9x14x6 = 8316.....8316 isn't the pass though....i'm not sure what to do with it....i'll keep plugging away i guess

:edit: obviously a=1 b=2 c=3....etc etc....therefore

11=k
9=i
14=n
6=g

which gives us king...which lead to a very interesting memo. i was stoked b/c it mentioned where Hiru was last spotted which means we are closing in on him. but the memo on the whole was rather confusing, i understood what was happening,,,i just wish i new how xxxxxx and yyyyyyyy are.

 		i fired an email off to travis as soon as i saw the memo. which was like...1am in the morning...so now he's off to Tappahannock to check out the diners, i doubt he'll find Hiru, but hopefully he'll find something. hopefully he'll find xxxxxxxxxxx and stop him/her from doing whatever it is they have to do by the 19th.....unless its a good thing.....haha oh well we'll find out in time.
anyways, heres the reply i got from the email i sent travis this morning.

 		Travis makes it sound like that's the end to the puzzles. But what about all the codes in the memo from Canini? Anybody cracked those? And the mayoi picture is still a mystery correct?

 		i think the mayoi picture is a red herring and you should ignore it. heres a quote from one of travis's emails to me

 		Good call on the red herring. After reading your post I would be inclined to agree. As for the memo...sorry, I am a noob and still not sure of all the codes and encryptions. I thought maybe that was in code but I guess its just blacked out. Ok, so I guess we just wait for news from Travis.

 		Possible clue in the memo
I'm also a noob to this type of game - but have got me hooked. I've been playing around with the memo and i'm not sure about this. Edited post: I think I got it wrong - after playing around with the memo by opening it up in Notepad - think there is only one picture now - just the logo - originally thought there may have been two pictures, was a little confused at the break in the picture code half way down the page. Never mind.

 		Jack, when I open it, I can only see one? Even when I highlight everything...where abouts on the page is the 2nd one?

I don't think this is the end of the puzzles...just that the end of this one happened to provide a lot of information ("was very enlightening").

Thought I'd post Travis' email...don't think it has anything important in it, but you never know.

I think the reference to Kerouac is just a figure of speech, btw.

The reference to YT & "coporate support" is from my observation to Travis that it didn't look like the law firm had anything to do with YT or were involved with Hiru's disappearance (looks like he's gone by himself)...except that why is YT hacking into their computer system & why is the law firm tracking Hiru (& going to great lengths to stop him leaving the country)?

Guess we'll find out more once Travis returns.

But you know, Travis seems to be hiding a lot of stuff...don't know if I'd 100% trust him...

 		yeah,,,i thought it was dead too...then they posted that tiny little blog and got my hopes up...and now i'm pretty sure its dead...but i guess they could always come back saying "sorry i was recovering"....but i dunno....its no fun waiting for weeks for something to happen..
