Can someone somehow grab the audio and post 'em
Same here.
Follow these instructions . Using those instructions, I got RealPlayer to work in Firefox, but the site hosting the audio clipped is still blocked by the firewall at work. So, someone please capture the RealAudio file, and post it here as an attachment.

Lemony Snicket Has anyone noticed the two dates that appear when you hover over items on the desktop - August 18th and September 16th.
The pictures on the penny pages change each time you refresh.
Also, the clue from yesterday about mob psychology didn't seem to fit with a children's novel.
Maybe this is more complicated than I first thought.

Heh, rose, have you read the novels?
These are not normal kids' books, but the kids eat them up. So do the adults (natch), but to give you an idea, the beginning of most of the books begin with the author warning the reader that each book has sad and horrible things in it, and there is no happy ending. So, if you, dear reader, are expecting sunshine, puppies, and rainbows, you'd best put the book down and run far, far away!
Reverse pyschology, mmmmmmm.

novels Krystyn -
Yes I have read the novels having purchased most of them for my son at one time or another. And then once in the house they are just around, like the Halo novels, so I read them. I also saw the almost unwatchable movie this past Christmas.
But what I meant about the clues is that I am not sure where they are leading. Some of them don't seem to fit with the other very simple, but cute, little puzzles. This game was designed by some very clever people.

Missing strips? Try refreshing the page. Yesterday after I solved the puzzle no strips at all, but when I left and came back, strips. So they may be there. Also remember to hit "save" at the bottom. Not sure what it saves (the strips you earned or just your arrangement of them), but better safe than sorry.

Ah, OK, rose, you said that it didn't seem to fit with a children's novel, so I wasn't able to suss the context you meant. Because these books are so decidedly atypical of popular children's lit, I wasn't sure of your familiarity with the series.
These are probably all just leader hints to what the book is actually about. I kinda doubt we're gonna get any really intuitive puzzle-solving, here.

Can't seem to find answers 3 or 4, and I borrowed the books from my friend, so I can't exactly look them up.

All the answers were given at one point or another on the non-quiz days - read back on the calender
