[Puzzle] 4. Yellow Face - Calculator

 		I think we've had enough from face two with the Reverse 52 etc. Also on face 3 we have the stave spelling out GAGA as in Radio GAGA and plus all the clues pointing out queen songs. So the numbers must have something to do with Radio Gaga.

Any ideas what this clue for face 4 means? I know it's from Dr. Seuss and I think it means "666". I'm still not sure what it really means. Of course, 666 is 999 upside down, if that's any help.

Anyway, I looked over it and it's probably nothing, but there is a 6 letter, 3 letter, and two 4 letter words in that rhyme thing (sipped, and or got, and sick x3, respectively). I don't know why that jumped at me, but it's an idea, at least.

 		I have absolutely no justification for it, but I the gut impression that this calculator may be looking for upside down words.

Like that stupid elementary school joke of putting 7734 in a calculator and flipping it upside down spells "hell".

So corresponding letters to numbers:

0 - o
1 - i
2 - z
3 - e
4 - h
5 - s
6 - g
7 - l
8 - nothing
9 - nothing

Interesting. Combing this with my idea, I get something like this (I'm combining elements of calculator flipping and 1337):

sipped = 519930 (it's a stretch for 9=P and 0=D)
and = No idea
got = 907 (7 is common in 1337 for a T)
sick = 51??

Like I said, this is probably the wrong path completely, but it's worth a shot.

Ok, I went a step further and attempted to 'numberfy' the rest of the poem (is it even a poem?) too:

silly = 5111?
sammy = 54???
slick = 511?? (I'm thinking maybe a 4 for K as well?)
six = 51?
sodas = 50045 (assuming 0 is D as well)

So, the whole poem in this 'code' is:

5111? 54??? 511??
519930 51? 50045
4?? 907
51?? 51?? 51??

Spark anything?

Maybe no one has said this. But puzzle 3 is made of three digit numbers.
Perhaps there is a way to elimitate all but the six we need.

Course maybe this is nothing.
But i do believe this is what the Six six six clue is trying to tell us.
Remember the puzzle is solvable without clues. The clues are just that.
They are NOT integral to the puzzle.

We will never use a clue FOR a solve,
it will only point us TOWARDS a solve.

Some people were trying to disect the clues for numbers to use.
This is faulty. Clues wont do that. They will only help.

 		Decided to take another look at the ol' cube, since I noticed some fresh posts. Starting to remember why I lost interest...frustration setting in.

Just wanted to point out, that the on face 4, the keys are in order from top to bottom (1 in upper left, 9 in lower right).
Now, at least in the US, this is the layout for a Phone Keypad, whereas a Calculator will be in reverse order (1 in bottom left, 9 in upper right).

naturally, this hasn't led to me solving the cube or anything, but maybe we could be looking for a phone number, or possibly use letters as they're laid out on a phone pad, etc.

back to wasting time at work pondering queen songs, my 3rd grade piano lessons, etc...

You know upon looking at how we solved each side. Ive noticed something. In almost all cases. Some single poster has some in and given us some information we didnt have before. Usually we have by then pondered past these clues and solved without them. Sometimes with help from the shirt clues.

For instance. We tried periods of the letters on the first side. Till we had the message. WAY before we found pressing KWB made this infinately easier.

Then later. The Use Si Stebbins stack Please. was figured out from the message. But by then we had already gotten the clue that said Si Stebbins. So far it seems weve walked right past the puzzles at hand to solve the next puzzle. By using the clues or by a mysterious post that happened after we solved on accident or by tedious pulling apart of the puzzle. or with clues.

Im getting the impression that we arent gonna get the third puzzle till, A. we get a clue that helps. B. We pick this puzzle apart at the seams and disect every possible way of thinking of it till we get it without the intended way of solving. Theyve hidden clues to the solve inside each side.

This being said. Each clue for side 2 (in game) came from side 1.
Club Won, Si Stebbins, Solitare Code. All side 1.

It seems that the clues for side 3 have to be in the sides weve solved already.

x does not mark the spot, press KWB and read on.
The first part wasnt used really. What does X does not mark the spot mean? On the outside circle there is one Cycling letter that is only X.
So far this is the only thing ive noticed on side one we didnt use.

There are X's on side 2 before the cipher.

Also the puzzle before reducing to the coffin riddle. Perhaps there
is more to this. the first letters were important. it made the riddle.
But they chose the rest of the message around those letters. And
maybe there is more there. Again how this has anything to do with
the word Radio is unclear. Its been repeated twice in the clues.
Queen Radio, And Radio 1 Radio 2. ... There were lots of ciphers
used in Radio transmission in WW2. But SO many and none speicfically
named 'radio'... So why do they keep pushing the word Radio on us.

The first obvious thought is Radio GaGa. a queen song. But weve tried to
match the lyrics to the puzzle.

Maybe its more than just the lyrics. Radio 1 radio 2. ... step one step 2.
perhaps the cypher is in two parts. Maybe we take word ###, then take the [Key value] letter from that word? ... Hell maybe its more than even that maybe once we get the correct letters we take the message diagonally like the message in side 1. ... Im just pushing out ideas here.
Like i said. Pull this bugger apart at the seams...

Its very tempting to just decrypt the psp file and see what the heck is going on. But there is no fun in that.

Another clue perhaps... jesus this puzzle is expensive.

 		As I recall the Electric Six version is slightly different. Right now the only difference I can think of was that there was only 1 radio said at the beginning instead of the 2 you hear in most official versions and the 0 you hear at some of the live concerts. I haven't sat and compared lyrics, however, so there may be more differences.

 		This is the answer to side 4. I got over excited and posted it under side three, but I figured it should be posted here. Some people are going to find that they were on the right track.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I found out that Dr. Suess name is Geisel (something that can be made with an upside down calculator. Then I found another clue in surfersticks post (for side 3) "shoes". I put them together with other words you can type on the calculator and came up with the answer to what the good doctor sees when he looks down. "Geisel sees his shoes" or upside down on the calculator it is 53045 514 5335 735136.
