I had help translating the cube over at the PXC forums. I must point out (to SteveC in particular) that the supposed middle "N" must be a "Z" based on a very interesting and logical point iwozframed at PXC made.

please note that the middle letters on the cube are S Y Z Y G Y.
thus the cubes name, such a simple point but easy mistake to make like many people on unfiction.
Card titles always have a meaning Wink

Given bearq's spoilerized post, and substituting a 'Z' for the 'N' (keeping in line with "SYZYGY" and assuming "azo" is a word), it looks like the solve site is not accepting the answer. (Either that, or I fat-fingered a letter or two while entering the answer.)

It would be nice if a second person could confirm or deny this.

I don't even have this card yet, but does it matter in what order the 3 'Y' faces are? Confused

Yes, it seems to. My first try it didn't work, but when I tried in the order below it accepted the solution:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The "Y" faces work in this order:

I got this card from firebox today but the site won't accept my answer. I typed it in exactly as is on this forum but it has said 'incorrect answer' twice. Is it possible that the scratch-off-panel code may be locked for a period of time after the card is sent out to prevent people from just trawling the forums for the answer?

Ok, Stupid (just joking honestly - I'm a newbie myself to this whole ARG experience) what it means is that when you enter the answer the sides of the cube have to be in the correct order. From the card itself it's not very clear but when you have the answer the middle letter of each 3x3 square will spell out the word S-Y-Z-Y-G-Y. Only, and here it get complicated, the middle letters are S-Y-N-Y-G-Y (the first syllable of syzygy is 'spelt' phoentically - i think)

However, I've tried to input it this way and it does not want to work for me - who's stupid now, eh? What am I doing wrong? Why does my brain hurt? What day is it? What's my name?

The N of Synygy as you have written is meant to be a Z. Fill it in as a Z on the site itself to get the points (the rest stay the same, but it is a Z not an N)

Thanks! I arrived at that conclusion this morning. My two brain cells only get together on Fridays - so please everyone ignore my other post and slap me with the biggest fish you can find (doesn't have to be trout).

Ok, so i'm getting very frustrated with the 'incorrect answer's i keep getting for this card!

Is there something I am missing? does it all have to be lower-case / all capitals or something like that.

I have entered every letter as was worked out on this forum but i'm not getting the points.

I was very worried about submitting this post as 2 very obvious mistakes were pointed out to me yesterday for other cards, but I really am frustrated with this 1.

Can someone please help?

Thank you for offering your help. Your spoiler consists of exactly what i've been entering, but nevertheless I tried again with your spoiler right next to the solutions page. However, as I suspected it still says incorrect answer!

I am staying calm, and am about to go and subject this card to as many forms of torture as I can possibly think of! Twisted Evil

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just to let you all know, I decided to give this card 1 more try after a days rest and miraculously it worked. So Syzygy cube has escaped torture! (good job really, I couldnt think of anything to do! Razz )

I commend the almighty cube on it's heroic defeat of the great chichiri, seriously how the hell are you supposed to dismantle a rubiks cube, I wrestled with it for about three hours and it just kept popping back into place, I've already finished the card, I just wanted to upgrade my rubiks to a syzygy.

All hail the almighty cube!
