Let's hope so. But it still means that the six pre-release silver cards are rare and valuable.
I've only had one silver out of about 18 packs. However, with judicious trading I only have one non-silver to get (206 - any offers?!) other than the impossible to get 85 and 108. That might sound impressive, but there is basically no way to get the other silvers without buying more packs until I have six silvers, and then trade them. At one in eight packs that means buying about 40 more packs, which I'm not about to do. Any suggestions for other ways to get silvers?

I've got 4 silvers in 24 packs, so that's about 1 in 6. Better than a lot of people, I guess, but I don't want to buy any more packs this wave. The thought of opening another load and just getting another large pile red/orange/yellow cards is a bit disheartening, especially when every one seems to contain Read Between The Lines. I'm willing to trade all my remaining swaps for the 2 silvers and the black that I need (219/238/244).

Has anybody ever got two (or more!) silvers in one pack? Or is it strictly on a one or none basis?

Silver cards My brother-in-law has worked in the printing industry for years and is an expert who travels on call to help with printing questions. He says the silver cards are insanely expensive to print as they are printed directly on the foil. So that may help explain why they are so rar
He also mentioned that solving some of the foils may involve shining the correct cominbatio of colored lights on them? And also that we need to photocopy each card to check for hidden inks as well as look at them with magnifying lenses. Something about a high-res scan not giving more information just more dots per inch...I didn't quite follow his point.

Rose, I figure your brother-in-law means that a hi-res scan will do nothing more than any other simple magnification technique, and so won't change what is already on the card. Photocopying may in some instances cause some areas to be hidden and others to be highlighted, and therefore this may give different information than is obtained by simply looking at the card.

I seem to be doing pretty good on variety, but no silvers and only 1 black.
Out of 4 Firefox packs I have no duplicates.

I had four from firebox, 1 silver, 1 black, no dupes, weren't too bad I didn't think.

I wandered into Games of Berkeley today and picked up two more packs.
They were the last two packs in the store, side by side on the bottom of the display box.
Alas, the first pack I opened contained six cards that I already have. And the second pack...was an exact duplicate of the first pack.
I wonder if the two stacks of packs in the boxes are arranged identically? That would explain why the two packs at the bottom of each stack were the same.
So now my count is 14 packs, 3 blacks, zero silvers. I'm definitely not buying any more until the next set comes out!
By the way, the proprietor of the store said he was very happy with how the cards have been selling, and he's already put in an order for more.

A friend stopped by Toy Tokyo for me to try to pick up some cards. They are sold out. The salesperson said Toy Tokyo may not be able to obtain any more cards until the next release. I'm not sure why they are unable to restock cards.

Possibly the demand for cards was greater than expected. Maybe Mind Candy have sold all of the cards from this wave.

Well the cards do say something like "0.5 limited release" on them right? Maybe they intentionally printed only a certain number?
Unless the cards from 0.5 are part of the next phase packs, that could potentially make any 0.5 cards we have VERY valuable in terms of trying to get a full 256 card set.
Then again, maybe they were just surprised by the demand

So far, I've gotten one silver out of 32 packs.
That is absolutley shocking!
It's shocking that someone bought 32 packs to get 66 cards.
I got eleven pack and didn't get one silver.
