I wouldn't expect to find much in that black picture. I think it's just a background used to make the timer. Mind you, I didn't decompile the flash, but I'd expect to find the black image layered directly under the white one, with the timer on the top layer as a 5% alpha'ed-out text element (so the underlaying black shows through at 5% gray there). It'd fix the problem of some people having screwy monitor color hues.

I think we're just reading too much into this and wasting our time. They set-up a website with a countdown timer, nothing more nothing less.

It's fun to poke around and look for a puzzle to solve, but there just isn't anything here folks. Speculating on what will happen on the 27th of September might be fun for a little while, but reading another 10 conspiracy theories isn't my idea of fun.

I'm sorry but I don't get why everyone falls head over heels as soon as microsoft says "mysterious website".. we've been burnt before (can you say Ourcolony?) so why don't we wait until we know what this is about before creating a dozen websites to decipher themysteriezoftehorigen360.com

We can very well say that there is nothing more to this than a countdown. we have no adjacent sites or code or cryptic refferences. all we have is a word, a product and a timer. I wouldn't be going all crazy with wild spec just yet.

That doesn't mean stop speculating and abandon all hope until we confirm it's a game. Ourcolony or not, there is no reason to mistrust this for what it appears to be. I'll still take that rabbit (hole or stand up) as a nod to us until i'm shown otherwise.
