Jacked my personal websites for clip mirroring...

http://www.joshua-robinson.com

http://www.joshandannarobinson.com

ONLY CLIP #1 IS UP RIGHT NOW! I'll put up the second one when I get it, and I'll let y'all know when that happens.

I have session 416 2 saved on my comp if you need it still, Nosnibor. If I still had webspace, I'd totally have it up. *scowl* But I have AIM, if you can tranfer that way.

The ourmedia.org mirror is mainly stable, tho it's gone down for a bit here and there.

However, that appeared to be a MySQL error, and I just went into my account there and copied the direct links to both clips:

http://www.archive.org/download/R._Tam__Session_1__Excerpt/R_Tam_Session_1_Excerpt.mov

http://www.archive.org/download/R._Tam__Session_416__Second_Excerpt/R_Tam_Session_416_Second_Excerpt.mov

Nos - thanks for the offer, I got it though.

If the ourmedia mirror is stable, I guess that's preferable, but if you need 'em I got 'em. Smile

onetruebix, are you and I the only one who got the orginal e-mail with the clip? *just curious* *heh*

I have a full transcript up. Unclear about the name, however. Posting it below.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Interviewer: And you like school?
River: I do. It's...sometimes things move a little slowly for me.
Interviewer: I imagine they do. What's your favorite subject?
River: I'm finding physics a challange.
Interviewer: You're in the graduate program already.
River: They call me 'little mouse'.
Interviewer: Do you think they're...jealous? Because you're so young?
River: Vuler(Wulger? Vulker?) is a little. He plans to become very important.
Interviewer: Did he tell you he was jealous?
River: Oh, no...I just...
Interviewer: You feel it.
River: People tell you things all the time, without talking. The way they move, the way they aren't talking. *laughs*
Interviewer: You're very intuitive.
River: Simon says I was born with a third eye. He hates when I can tell with girls he likes.
Interviewer: Your brother...He's a doctor, right?
River: He's a trama surgeon in Capital City.
Interviewer: Quite a family.
River: Simons a genius. I could never do what he does.
Interviewer: I think you could do whatever you put your mind to. That's what the Alliance needs, that's what this institute is all about. Your mind. Letting it do everything it could. Does that sound like something you'd be intrested in?
River: Would I still be allowed to dance?

Bolding mine, of course. So, this person plans to become very important? Are we being hit by the clue by four?

That was my assumption as well. Then again, I was sure that "Paul Probo" was going to turn out to mean something and so far it hasn't.

Well, I am still sure it will turn out to be something....We just aren't seeing it yet. Considering the way both clips were dropped on us, I am thinking the next person to drop them will be yet another 'new' poster on the boards, with a name that anagrams to another name.

"I am looking for information on River Tam and the Session 416 files.
Please contact me as soon as possible.

Nos"

"Please leave me be, I am a private person and I can't say anything
about that now."

*sniff* *wonders if she pissed him off*

He "can't say anything about that now."

Just "now" -- but maybe later? Weirdness.

Anyway, did I miss something? Where did you get that email address from?

I made a post on the previous page where I said I was sending out random emails to (like paulproboSPLAThotmail.com, paulproboSPLATgmail.com, ect..) and several had already bounced. This one sure didn't!

Ok, I find the fact that he can't talk about it "now" to be very interesting, because in a couple of other places discussing "Paul Probo", someone came up with this theory:

Quote:
Probo in the latin means- probo : to show, prove,
demonstrate,
approve, find good, judge

So I searched paul in latin as well. While there is
no paul that
stands alone ther are these three:

paulatim : gradually, litle by little.
paulisper : for a little while, for a short time.
paululum : very small, very little.

So it would appear that paul in latin has something
to do with a size
or amount, seemingly small in nature.

So my deduction is "Paul Probo" is "Showing
gradually"

How was that?

He can't talk about it "now" -- and one Browncoat pondered his name meaning "showing gradually".

Which doesn't mean that his name was always meant to mean that -- but it could mean he's playing off that theory.

Yeah, I was kinda thinking of that one too. *is lurking on pretty much every message board now* *is such a dork*

So, you think I should email him back? With something like"Pardon me for asking, but if not now when?" or the like? Or do you think it would be umm...pushing? Or piss him off?

Well, I've just sent two emails.

First, to "John Dowses" asking if he knows "Paul Probo".

Second, to "Paul Probo" asking if he knows "John Dowses".
