Random, probably uninportant factoid:

#99 - The Rifts picture, is probably somehow related to the table-top roleplaying game called RIFTS.

How that relates to this, I have no idea. An actual CD based off an RPG is unusual, but not unknown.

I received the same letter today. I have a question for you.

The front of the envelope I received had a hole cut in it so that my address could be viewed on the paper within. The "a" in my last name has a single stroke of red through it with what is probably a sharpie marker. Any similar mark on yours?

i am ashamed to report that I got an AIM message from a random stranger which linked to this image on a website. This was a few days ago, and I promptly complained about it in IRC. Give me a few minutes and I'll trace back thru the chat logs to find the URL...

are both the letters exactly the same or does Thajinx's letter have different pictures...that would make sense...like if Thajinx's had different numbers with different pictures...and a bunch of people get these letters...and we peice them all together..pictures 1 through....99 or whatever...and then we have a full puzzle...taking the first letter of the picture of something...i dunno....if they are the same then there must be something there...i find this interesting though,

Just a few thoughts. A quick Google showed that the RIFTS thing was just released a few days ago, possibly on the day it was sent (depending on how fast the post is). Second, the car is a Mercedes (looks kind of like the new Kompressor, but I can't be sure) and thirdly, the people standing by the rock have got some badge thing going on, making me think instantly of Star Trek. But I'm not a Trekkie, so I can't confirm if those are actual characters . Anyways, there's alot of blank white space, so someone equipped with Photoshop want to fiddle around with it. Certainly feels like something could be lurking in all that space.
