 		River - "See this movie" ??
Still searching for clues... I was listening to the audio from the Session 1 backwards and came upon something curious. It's probably just coincidence, but you never know...

If you isolate the part where River says, "People tell you things all the time" and play it backwards, it almost sounds like there's a "see this movie" in there... Smile

 		Playing things backwards is just asking for trouble, if you ask me. I heard "look me up moby" Nos will probably hear something different, and b!x will hear something just as different.

Though I can see where it piqued your interested, seeing as there is seemingly nothing in the sentance that would turn out 'see this movie' or 'look me up moby' backwards. But sounds does strange things played backwards, and we all hear something different, things we want to hear.

 		I'm going to go out on a limb here. A thick limb, easily thick enough to support my weight, but still a limb. With all the recent confimations of Joss' and Summer's involvment with the sessions, I am more and more convinced that we are not going to see any more ARGish overtones. I.E. no ARG here. Just clips meant to start a maelstrom of interest in the flick. Which they seem to be doing. I hope I'm wrong, I'm often wrong much to my enjoyment, but with three clips out and more obviously to come... I don't think we're going to have any puzzles to solve or people to communicate with in gamishness.

But hey, we still have the pretty sessions to over-analyze and pick the meat off of.

I actually agree. Just because I don't think there's enough time for an ARG between now and the movie.

That said, I believe that Joss Whedon *and* the cast of Firefly are cool enough to participate in an ARG. I just watched the "making-of" documentary on the Firefly DVD set, and their affection for the fans sounded very genuine, plus Joss is creative and innovative enough that I think he'd grok the ARG concept.

For this reason, if SERENITY does well enough to trigger the contract for two more Firefly movies (and if said rumor is not merely a rumor) I think we should immediately begin suggesting the idea of an ARG to promote the two subsequent movies.

I suggest this for several reasons. First, as I mentioned above, I think Joss and the cast are cool enough to "get it." Second, who WOULDN'T want a Firefly ARG.

But third, and most importantly, Joss really seems to regret the fact that he didn't get to spend longer in the Firefly universe, and to expand on it and continue to build on the depth that the half-season we got starts to imply. With an ARG, he could do that in what would probably be a more satisfying manner than he could accomplish with three two-hour movies -- more satisfying both for him and for us.

I know. I would love a Firefly ARG - grassroots or not, although a fully supported 42 Firefly ARG would be bloody awsome! Or a Joss/42 ARG! Aaah, too much awsome! =D

Why is the static at the end of Session 22 not the same static as was used in Session 416 or Session 1?

What's the point in suddenly changing the cut of static used?
