OK, got as far as room #14 on 154, and covered all of 156. The crashes are too numerous for me to be able to cope. a few vague suspects that I think I've disproven are:
156:14
154:7
154:14 (actually, not disproven this one, it just crashed and I've given up)
I notice the occupant of #14 on each floor appears to be a suspect, lazy data filling or clue?

It is now precisely 1 day, 15 hours and 43 minutes since I last left my apartment. My key apparently stores this information. Is that odd?
According to my calculations the Advisor left her apartment at 2.30am on 09 June 2005
Could someone check my maths as Atrophied has a different time

So how did you get "thelimelife?" - the only mention of limes in the logs were buns the advisor bought from the bakery.

its a well known fact that coriander-lime buns from the red hot bakery are called the lime life, the advisor metioned she bought some...
hmmm my personal suspect #159: #14 seems to return at exactly the time shes sposed to leave, damn... still bit of a coincidence, especially as its 2:30 in the morning

"the lime life" is the name of the lime-coriander buns that the Advisor likes so much. (Taken from the Bakery's menu).

got any further stevec? I think the whole rule of 14 thing might be a clue, especially cos server room four doubles as rm 14... somebody should thoroughly check all #14s on all floors.

I am unable to continue really. For some reason the java is exiting suddenly quite regularly (now that I've gotten quick with the interface!)...
It might be worth doing a comparative between R14 and SR4 ? I just can't..

Scanning floors 150-159 to see who just left their room at 2.30am June 9th (day16) but finding it really hard to tell whats a room and whats a corridor.
So been checking all the lifts about that time as well. No firm suspects so far but still looking

I'm pretty dim and when I typed in the password, I'm pretty sure I accidently put in "thelimelight" instead of "thelimelife" and I managed to get in, can someone else try?

the password is technically:
thelimel
I think.. I've come across that a few times before, passwords are truncated to the first 8 characters, must be one of the standard encryption schemes.

you're right, thelimelight also works for some reason, dunno why. Also, why are the only two pages we have access to the page about the heat sensors, which i can understand, and the building maintenance page which is pratically useless. can anybody else see a point to the building maintenance page?
EDIT: this is the only useful bit on the building maintenance page

whats an apropriate keyless user/password combination?
EDIT: reasonably interesting ascendancy point info

The humiliating climate control failure comes as no shock after recent revelations that Ascendancy Point is suffering massive problems with its environmental, security, and business systems. An anonymous source on the building's maintenance staff has indicated that the concert's climate control problems are linked to corruption in a database containing business data. "It's an outrage how poorly planned these systems are," said the source. "There's no such thing as a single bug in one system [in Ascendancy Point] because everything is so completely tied together."
Are they hinting at something or is it just me? 'corruption in businness data', like banking records? If its all linked together and we have one end of the thread we should jus tug at it and see what we can fish out... I dont understand what they mean baout cross system bugs though?

I think we're thinking about this all wrong. Her key told her "It is now precisely 1 day, 15 hours and 43 minutes since I last left my apartment." She was typing this message FROM her apartment. I think her key was telling her how long she has been in her apartment without leaving. That would mean she RETURNS BACK to her apartment on the 9th at 2:30. Which is exactly what happens in room 14. The only problem is this happens on ALL LEVELS.
So, I think room 14 is The Advisor. She wakes up in the middle of the night of the 8th at around 11:40PM. She leaves her apartment and doesn't return until 2:30 AM the next morning. Why is knowing all this important?

http://www.ascendancypoint.com/eclipsesecurity/disaster/heat/sensor.jnlp
(for people who cant be bothered to read back the user/password is theadvisor/thelimel)

<PFCMacWalker> About 1830, June 7, someone passes by TA's door. I only just picked it up on quickscan, but I *think* whoever it is pauses breifly at the door before moving on.
<PFCMacWalker> Am rewinding for a retrack.
<PFCMacWalker> Whoa, hang on here . . . I just backtraced the second track, and there's a THIRD! This one doesn't move, but stays in the elevator whent he second track leaves!
This sounds very mysterious to me.
