I think we are missing the obvious here. A bonsai tree and a bunny rabbit. This is really going to be an ad campaign for the latest version of..
Bonzi Buddy!
Ok, seriously. The camera is moving, not the bunny. That is why the tree looks different. So when 'we' make a complete 360 around the tree, something will change.

I disagree, if you look at the comparison picture posted earlier, you can see that the treetrunk is the same. The camera is not rotating around the tree-- the camera is merely 'pointing downwards'' a little more, and 'moved forwards' a little more.
The camera hasn't moved left or right at all, hence the bunny -has- moved from its original place.

Insofar as the theories about the Xbox 360 in Japan go Sept 27th is a bit late. The Tokyo Game Show will be held in Makuahri Messe from the 16-18th. Microsquish will be having a press only demo/announcement/conference on the 15th where they have said they will announce the Japanese launch and some other information. There are also very few people in Japan who know about the 360 or about ARGs so I doubt this is in anyway targeted at Japan.

If you look at the Leipzig Conference video of Scott Henson he has a brown shirt on. If you notice when he comes up to show Kameo on 360 he is wearing a shirt with 2 neon green rabbits and a darker green rabbit on the left of the two neon green ones. He is doing what J Allard did to promote ourcolony.net with the ant t-shirt at a presentation.
Very interesting...

I actually saw that T-shirt and wondered if the picture on it was the same but I couldn't get a high enough rez pic of it to say anything conclusive.

I have changed my guess... it can't be a HD-DVD drive, just ain't possible. It has to be the integration of MSN Messanger... just has to be.

stuff.... So back to cracking the puzzle....
on txb forums they came up with this hypothesis:
J. Allard
Boyskateras'/J
Anagram: J's a skater boy! Coincidence? I dunno....
I think we may be on to something with both leads about the font AND the missing olives. Why olives? Try taking a look at a bonzai olive tree and see what I mean...
When you think about it the missing olives is a very very interesting scenario. It's fairly obvious (to me) that the olives are not not there because they haven't gown yet, cause why would you not be abble to see any evidence of olive even though the other ones appear to be almost ripe...
SO it must be the case that they have fallen off already (unlikely if the "season" theory is correct OR they've been picked/stolen. The question is (obviously) why?.....

Perhaps the silhouette in the pear is not of Microsoft Instant Messenger, but of the Magritte man whose face is perpetually behind the pear. There is a connection between Magritte's art and ARGing.
Jane McGonigal referenced Magritte's Pipe in a powerpoint I saw somewhere in explaining TINAG.
Perhaps the Magritte reference is just a clue that this is in fact building toward an ARG. . .

Is there any way to get a street address for this. I know Tokyo pretty well as I live here. I can probably let you know what this place is if I have some kind of reference point.

I really think you guys are reading too much into this. When I look at the fruit, all I see is one of the darker leaves partially obscuring it. (You can see the center stem of this leaf coming into what has been proposed as the left shoulder of the MSN guy.) That's it.
Granted, I've been wrong [many, many times] before. I've been wishing for integration between MSN Messenger and Xbox Live to where you could IM someone on Live or vice-versa, so I would be very excited if this was leading up to some such announcement -- but I really don't think that's the case.
