I just thought that was bit interesting...since can't Microsoft host its own webpage. Obviously. Ahh, was worth mentioning, but I guess pointless.

I'll just go crawl into my cave now. Shocked

EDIT: I'm not the only one who has looked into it.

I really am sad when people Trout without doing the right thing and link to the post that makes the trout trout. It took me all of five seconds to find the post on page 1 of this thread where the WHOIS info was first brought up.

http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=182336#182336

Sad

edit: The WHOIS information for origenxbox360.org hasn't even been brought up in this thread. Interesting find, Miles.

This just popped up on IGN in an article about an interview done with Yoshihiro Maruyama who is the Xbox general manager in Japan.

Quote:
One area of the Xbox 360's development in Japan that may differ from that of America is in its link up with Windows XP Media Center Edition PCs. Media Center Edition hasn't taken off in Japan yet, Maruyama states. However, the Xbox 360's media functionality may take a different form in Japan. Without getting too specific, Maruyama reveals that Microsoft is working on technology that uses wireless LAN to allow for some form of house-wide connectivity involving the Xbox 360. He states that this will end up being a big bonus point for the Xbox 360. The company will show the fruits of its labor at the WPC Expo, to be held in Tokyo from 10/26 to 10/29, and hopes on making this technology a part of the Xbox 360 at the end of the year

Here is the link for the full article if you wish to read it.
Maruyama Talks Xbox 360

Look at the dates of the conference. Sept. 27 falls right into the middle of the WPC Expo in Tokyo. There will be an announcement at this show regarding Xbox 360 connectivity with PC involving a wireless LAN.

Things that make you go Hmmmmm.... Very Happy

It doesn't. 10/26 is October 26th, not september.

Phaedra, where is the countdown setting Jan. to month 0?

FYI at noon my time (EST-about 20 minutes from now) it will be exactly 4 weeks till the countdown is done. Maybe they will throw us a bone...

I participated (quite a lot) in ILB. I don't remember a player named Ubillus, and s/he is not registered here. Neither do I remember a player by that name listed among the crew who were not regular posters.

That said, these forums may have been the main location for the ILB community, but there are millions of people who played the game and never posted here, so the fact that he's not one of the Unfiction beekeepers does not mean that he is not a beekeeper.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
