well the image comes from a recreation of the Magnetic Scrolls engine:
http://www.if-legends.org/~msmemorial/legacy/magnetic.htm
and a huge size version:
http://www.if-legends.org/%7Emsmemorial/games.htm/archive/wonderland/WonderlandPoster.jpg
Listed there also as wonder.png, any chance its related to this game/company?
I've tried the obvious (magnetic, magneticscrolls, power, wonderland) but nothing.

the picture was made by Dermot Power, quite a well known conceptual artist - worked on charlie and the chocolate factory

Here 's the original, and it's about 92K lighter than soogees' wonder.jpg , which leads me to believe something's in there - but if there is, it's not easily seen with notepad .

The solution to the "paint-by-numbers" griddler/nonogram is:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
& # 8 7 1 0 ; or ∆
which is the unicode identifier for the delta character -- but http://www.soogees.com/s2/morepuzzles/delta.htm didn't work.
The meaning of the character leads us on a merry chase thru a succession of pages with hints [and some of these probably came out of order, it was a confusing time in chat]:
./laplaceoperator.htm -> Nope, there's another meaning to that symbol.
./difference.htm -> What kind of difference?
./backwarddifference.htm -> Right, which is what?
./increment.htm -> Yes, increment. So what are you waiting for!
At this, we increment our unicode character to "& # 8 7 1 1 ;" or ∇ which looks like an upside down delta [and this is where the "backward difference" belongs, mathematically]:
./del.htm -> No we're only interested in the other name it has.
./nabla.htm -> And that means?
./gradient.htm -> Nope, there's another meaning to that symbol.
And we're going around in circles now. Sorry.

ok, have fun finding all the missing cows and flowers and stuff, but also look at the images shift pixels. Our own Leftbrained used photoshop to highlight just the pixel differences between images.
which takes us to

Someone else needs to explain the solution at this point, but it takes us to:
The step after that leads thru some interesting concepts:
edit to add more steps, since no one else is keeping up
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The /funnystuff/ page was full of pretzels, the same pretzels but in specific locations on the page. Each image has an ID tag, which turns out to be the name of an episode of that classic TV show "Seinfeld" -- or are they? Remove every image that is not an exact title match, and you are left with 3 clusters on the page.
Since the titles in each cluster all come from the same season of the show -- season 2, season 5, season 8 -- i tried http://www.soogees.com/s2/funnystuff/258.htm but failed. Going back to put the pretzels in *episode* order within each cluster creates a "connect-the-pretzels" puzzle, and that draws out the image Leftbrained created below. Looks like a big 819, doesn't it? Eventually it occured to me to look up the title of episode 8-19, or episode 19 from season 8, which is "The Yada Yada", and voila!
http://www.soogees.com/s2/funnystuff/theyadayada.htm moves us along to play PacMan!
